Brooklyn look horrible without Mikal Bridges.

I do not understand why they insist on starting Ben Simmons instead of Nic Claxton. They need Claxton's interior defense & rebounding. They do not need Ben Simmons' ball-handling with Schroder & Cam Thomas in the backcourt. Simmons needs to move to a bench role.

Bucks lost to the Bulls and gave up 133 points in regulation. The Dame effect.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I'm fully aware we're only two games in.

But so far... the East looks meh. Again, there are injuries and other factors, but I still feel it's Tier 1 of Boston, New York, Indiana and Philadelphia IF they are fully healthy (big if). Then everyone else. Not really sold on MIL either.

If we're healthy, I think it's Tier 1: Boston, with nobody else.

Strawther looks good for Denver. Always knew he could shoot but showing nice ball-handing, probing and passing for a wing.

Westbrook is now 2-17 FGAs in his first 2 games.

They did beat three solid Western Conference teams to start their season...coach JJ Reddick seems legit.

I still don't understand why the league has a marquee match up happen on the end of a b2b.

It's just lessening the product
Back to wanting Joe fired.

Dejounte Murray is out for 4-6 weeks with a broken hand. New Orleans look super-weak without him. Both without him and without Jonas Valanciunas. That loss of a capable starting center all the more glaring without the upgrade in the backcourt.

When Nikola Jokic is on the floor the Nuggets have a 110.1 offensive rating.

And a 54.9 offensive rating in the 24 minutes Jokic is on the bench.

54.9 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

Russell Westbrook has been in for 22 of those 24 minutes without Jokic.

Oh my goodness!! Wow.

Have you seen this Dwayne Wade statue they just unveiled in Miami honoring their all-time leading scorer ?
Lawdy, Lawdy, it is ugly and does not look like him. Looks more like some tormented soul suffering in Hell.
