I'd like Clippers or Warriors to get the 6th seed

7 games on right now and not a single one of them is worth watching.

No chance for the Clippers in any scenario. It's only GSW or MIN that can get it.

Lowkey though I'd like to see LAC get the 7 seed, because then it's possible LAL meets LAC in the 2nd round (if Kawhi and the team is healthy I may pick LAC to beat HOU in the first round)

I don't think an LAL-LAC series is an easy LAL win, in fact LAC could beat them IMO

All these 4 or 5 way ties between the 4-8 seeds giving me a confusion.

As long as Denver don't drop to 6th or Minny get up to 6th that should be fine.

I am surprised by how much the Memphis Grizzlies are pushing Vancouver Grizzlies gear this season. T-Shirts, hats, the jerseys. I've seen it a bunch of times this season. Even with the city name Vancouver on them. Not Memphis.

I do love it though. Especially the jerseys. The Vancouver Grizzlies had better logos and better jerseys than this rebranded Memphis Grizzlies team do.

Jokic watch

He got the assists the other night to average a triple double for the season. He also scored 26pts that night when he needed 74pts over his final 2 games in order to average 30ppg for the season. That would give him a 30ppg triple double.

Jokic has 8 here early. So he needs another 40 points.

I'd love to see him go for it.

Memphis and Dallas are both resting people. Nothing to see there. The Lakers are resting Luka, LeBron, and A Reaves against Portland. Another nothing game. Phoenix are not playing Durant, D Booker, or B Beal against Sacramento. That should be an easy win for the Kings.

GSW vs LAC = stars are playing
HOU vs DEN = stars are playing

So at least 2 good games in the West today.

Jokic watch

He has 14pts to finish Q1. He needs 34pts 33pts over the next 3 quarters to get to the 48pts 47pts he needs to average a 30ppg triple double for the season.

Denver need to drop DeAndre Jordan from the rotation.

They should play Aaron Gordon as their backup center like they did during most of their playoffs run when they won the Championship. MPJ at PF. Westbrook at PG. Two wings. Run and gun basketball. That is how they should play when Jokic rests. They could put together a good lineup without Jokic based around those guys. There is no reason for them to be as woeful as they are without Jokic.

Clippers putting their heads down a lot here. Not showing much fighting spirit. GSW have all the momentum.

Warriors were on a 17-1 run until Kawhi made that triple.

LAC went 6 and a half minutes without a field goal.

Amen Thompson is so good moving off the ball along that baseline. Reminds me of Cedric Ceballos. You didn't even need to run plays for Ceballos. He would just snake around along the baseline and create opportunities for himself for layups and short shots. Averaged 20ppg for the Lakers doing that as their best scorer in mid-90s. Some transition scoring, some post scoring, some slashing. But mainly snaking along that baseline.

Jokic watch

Quiet 2nd quarter for Jokic. Only 2pts. Sat the first 5 minutes. Came in at the 7min mark. Scored a bucket at either 6min or 5min mark and then did not take another shot for the rest of the quarter. Only 1 shot taken in the entire period.

Jokic has 16pts at halftime. He needed 47pts to start the game. So he would have to have a huge 31pts explosion in the 2nd half.

Dang! I was getting excited after the big 14pts Q1.
