Good. If Rockets are playing hot and good D, they must destroy the Lakers at all costs. In Ime I trust this task to him

If Luka and LeBron are healthy for the playoffs, they will roll the Rockets. Reaves has been playing at a high level as well. Over the last 10, he?s averaging 23pts, 6rebs, 6ast on shooting splits of 45/38/92.

Orlando Magic crazy stat.

The Magic are the worst jump-shooting team in the league. The get 7 fewer points per game on jump-shots than the 2nd worst jump-shooting team in the league which is the Washington Wizards. That 7 point gap is the same gap between the 29th ranked Wizards and the 13th ranked Chicago Bulls. That is how badly Orlando has shot the ball this season. That is crazy.

I don't think ORL are as bad at jump-shooting as their numbers indicate. I believe part of that has been the injuries. Playing with undermanned squads. Less offensive talent. Harder to create open looks. Lower shooting results. KCP having a bad season has hurt them as well. F Wagner has gone from a 36-37% 3PT shooter to a 30% shooter. Suggs had to take a lot of bad 3s with Banchero & Franz both missing time. I think he is more of a 37-38% shooter than a 31% shooter.

So now that they are getting healthier heading into the playoffs, I do expect them to be more competitive with their jump-shooting ... but they are still clearly a bad jump-shooting group.

Would be such a shame if Orlando suddenly learned how to shoot jumpers again in the 1st round, against Cleveland

True about healthy LeBron, Luka, and Reaves 😭😭😭

Yes, the Bulls are making shots, and yes, Luka has 34-8-6.

But man the Bulls are relentlessly attacking Luka on defense and cooking him. White, Giddey, even Buzelis on a few possessions have just scored easily when Doncic is guarding them

Note to the West teams. That?s how you beat LAL and make things difficult. Hunt Luka, don?t let him hide on defense

OKC and BOS last season were the only two in the playoffs who did this and those were the toughest series DAL had in the postseason. The OKC one went 6 games and a few games were very close. MIN and LAC didn?t do it last year, they allowed Kidd to hide Luka defensively

Do you see Giddey's stat line?

15pts 17ast 10reb 8stl

3min to go. Near quadruple double.

33min played by Giddey. He would have had a good chance at that quadruple double with some more playing time.

That's crazy, the Bulls are curb stomping the Lakers at Crypto. Even with their healthy Big 3.

Notice how all of his stats were below 18  ;)

Worth noting, Chicago is now just 2 games back of Orlando for the 8 seed. Man, if they could pass Orlando that would be awesome, because then that would set up an Atlanta-Chicago matchup (7 vs. 8 seed) with the winner playing Boston first round. I would MUCH RATHER face any of ATL/CHI/MIA than Orlando first round.

Chicago are an interesting team.

They can put a lot of quality ball-handlers on the floor together at the same time. Create a dangerous dribble drive type of offense. At times they have a good amount of shooting. Sometimes they don't.

Not a great defensive team but dangerous offensively.

They look like the type of team that could cause problems in a playoff series in certain matchups where the opponent doesn't defend the perimeter that well. Or in other matchups, where the opponent does defend the perimeter well and has superior physicality & rebounding, the Bulls could be brushed aside with ease.

I don't think they would be any threat to BOS in a playoff series but I do wonder about New York. I think the Bulls could cause the Knicks a lot of problems. A series against MIL would be interesting also. A case of contrasting styles. MIL cause them huge issues with Giannis. CHI cause MIL huge issues with their ball-handling, driving, and three point shooting. A bit similar to the Bucks vs Pacers matchup of last season in the playoffs. Speed vs lack of speed. I imagine the Cavs would make quick work of the Bulls as well.

Pity they are likely to get BOS or CLE in a playoff series rather than a 3rd / 4th seed like NYK or MIL where the Bulls could make some noise. Be a surprise team. Make a fun competitive series where one isn't expected.

I think #6 Detroit will cause lots of issues with #3 Knicks.  Cade will ball out, Isaiah Stewart a defensive anchor...Mew York has struggled against a top 10 defense this year. Brunson may not be 100% when he comes back for the postseason. That's a potential upset series. And the 4/5 matchup Bucks/Pacers rematch will always be an entertaining one.
