There's a very real chance the Mavericks will have to forfeit games later this season. You need to have 8 available players in a game, and the Mavs are getting decimated by injuries. Exum the latest with a hand fracture.

Forfeit games would go against their standings? What if they're trying to make the playoffs lol

Have to be the lowest of lows to get swept by a team like the Wizards

Warriors 14-2 in their last 16 since the Butler trade. These guys are forreals.

Crazy numbers

Luka has run a 181 PnRs with the Lakers. He has been doubled on those PnRs 129 times. Despite having LeBron and often A Reaves as well on the weakside to attack short-handed defenses. Luka hasn't scored the ball well. He has turned the ball over more than normal. Still, he is averaging 1.1 points per possession on those 181 PnRs.

Why are you doubling him?

Make Luka play one-on-one basketball and prove he can beat you. His passing is too deadly. Jason Timpf (stats from him) also pointed that Luka only has 15 games with 10+ made field goals out of 35 games this season. Compared to 50 in 70 last season. Luka has not shot the ball well. Make him play one-on-one. Stop giving other guys open shots.

J.B. Bickerstaff went off on the refs post game about the refs showing disrespect to him and his team.

This was about the officials making a call for SGA and OKC and going in their favor. We share the same sentiments about OKC too, Bickerstaff.

Wish PBS can send some donation to Bickerstaff for the time he is about to receive from the NBA for comments about officiating. JB def win over this locker room, hard to fire a guy like him.

Glad to see you hyping a team besides the lakers for once :). The problem with the runs this year (and this was the case for the Lakers this year when they had their hot stretch too). There are so many injured and tanking teams that teams can go a month only playing one or two good teams. The Warriors beat the Knicks twice (once without Kat, once without Brunson), the pistons at home, the rockets without FVF, Brooks or Jabari, and the Bucks without Giannis. That is it for like two months of play and pretty insane. The league needs to figure out a way to not have 9 teams tanking for the last two months of the season cause you can't even tell who is good anymore.

The story is they have 8 healthy players right now and two of them are on two ways running out of elegibility and the current league rules don't allow them to make the guys regular contracts with their cap situation. The league will update this on the fly in a week if they are going to forfeit. There is no benefit to a forfeit for the league or the fans. If the league hates stars resting canceling a game entirely is that on steroids. Silver is kind of having a disaster of a season for the league with their current rules between the amount of teams tanking and trying to fine them for it on top of another year of all star game garbage and the in season tournament having a tepid response in its second year (coaches and players both publicly said they didn't even understand what was a tourney game and what wasn't/understand the rules).

It's very true the Warriors have benefitted recently from injuries to other teams, and their easy schedule. That said, I still don't consider them a "pushover" in the West. In fact, I think they are capable of making some noise if they make it as a Top-5 seed. Curry and Butler are legit playoff performers and can elevate their game when needed. Their frontcourt is still weak, but Post (BC Eagles guy btw!) has turned into a useful contributor for them and can make 3s. Kuminga is back as well, and Butler is also capable of playing some of the 4.

Pod is hurt but he's turned into a nice SG for them as well and since the Schroder trade has taken on more minutes and has been great. He'll be back.

One advantage a lot of these teams facing GSW had in recent years was, the weak frontcourt as well as Klay becoming washed and the team being very one-dimensional. But now they have Butler, and a few other bench guys who are now becoming key players (Pod, Post, Moody, etc.). Curry can single-handedly win you games and with Butler now in the fold, that's another guy teams simply have to factor and can't ignore.

Oh my goodness!

The GS Warriors youtube page put up a 7 hour video showing each and every 3 pointer made by Steph Curry during his NBA career to celebrate him being the 1st player to ever reach 4,000 made 3s in his career.

7 hours! Of three pointers!

Hey, I find 10min highlight videos of guys makin 3s boring. 7 hours??!! Ooof. Not for me.

Cleveland struggling and about to lose against the Magic - a team with big wings and who can also defend them well - at home.

They jut really, really struggle with teams that have big wings given their personnel. Would love to see this as a first round matchup for Cleveland to make them work for it. Similarly, that is the one team I would not want to face in the first round, as they'll make you work for wins.

Whomever draws Orlando are in for an annoying mug ball series. I?ve already prepared myself for the matchup because I think that?s what the league wants. That game before Christmas was an absolute joke.
