Jared McCain looks like he could be decent player for Philly.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Zack Edey about to make his SL debut on ESPN. Should be interesting. Will be matching up with Walker Kessler.

Utah's summer league team is ridiculous

G: Keyonte George, I Collier
G: Brian Sensabough
F: Cody Williams
F: Taylor Hendricks
C: W Kessler, Filipowski

7 legit NBA players. Legit prospects. 6 first round picks and Filipowski as an early 2nd rounder. A couple of lotto picks.

They also got D Bazley and K Lofton Jr. Bazley 5 years in the NBA. Lofton Jr on the Grizzlies last two years. 9 NBA guys.

Utah hosts this summer league before Vegas, and normally plays a lot of their younger guys in it, but then gets some different players in Vegas.  I would not expect Kessler or George in Sin City.

That was a great game last night between Utah and Memphis. Very entertaining. Edey looked better than I thought he would.

I am bummed I missed it. I was checking twitter towards the end of the game and so many were raving about good Edey looked. Great individual matchup and test for him against Kessler as well.

Promising signs for Memphis.

I?m also intrigued by Ron Harper Jr. We?re allowed only 3 two ways right? With JD and Peterson locked up, I assume Watson gets the third slot?

No he is not.

I have a simple way of evaluating prospects in this setting. I watch only them on every defensive and offensive possession, and keep tally on whether they were a positive, neutral, or negative to their team on that possession. Flood spacing, good screens, rolling hard, rebounding, assists, scoring all go into the positive tally. Helpside defense, on-ball defense, tips, steals, rebounds, good contests all go into the negative. Neutral players imitate Tobias Harris and do nothing good or bad for their team, which in my mind is still a negative.

He tallied by far the worst of any prospect that I've followed so far. He was an outright negative on most defensive and offensive possessions, which is why he was tied for a team-worst -20 +/-

I saw people praising him after the first game. That his defense was better than given credit for + his quickness defensively was better than advertised.

Wasn't able to watch that one closely. Just talking about the game tonight. He was awful.

Gerald Bourguet @GeraldBourguet

Ryan Dunn mentioned Herb Jones, OG Anunoby and Jaden McDaniels as defenders he watches film on -- long and athletic guys that he feels he resembles. He also talked about what steps he wants to take offensively as Summer League

Ryan Dunn = Suns pick.

You gotta like a guy who is modelling himself after those 3 dudes.
