Maybe not the right thread here, but the more I look at Payton Pritchard's extension, the more I think it may be one of the best contracts in the league.

Set aside rookie contracts and set aside full max contracts for superstars. Pritchard's 4 year, 30m contract unbelievably good. If all he did was shoot 3s, that would be a good contract, but he also brings ball-handling and creation for others as a backup guard. He's not terrible at defense either.

If he continues to drain those half court shots it could end up being one of the best contracts of all time haha

And he's sneaky good at offensive rebounding.

Ha.

I like the idea of a designated shooter for those. You just know his percentage isn't going to be as good as normal, but you pay him specifically for his ability to hit half court shots.

The Celtics did not extend a qualifying offer to JD Davidson making him an unrestricted free agent. Davidson averaged 21.5 points, 8.5 assists and 1.5 steals this season for Boston?s G League affiliate.

Ah, that is a bummer. I thought he was going to make it here.

This is news from like a week ago.  All the QO news you?ve been posting tonight is; they had to be offered by June 29th.

Anyway, as I said earlier in this thread Davison?s QO was required to be a 15-man spot.  He is 2-way eligible but his QO could not be for a 2-way.  He is still on the Celtics summer league, and will have a (good) chance of earning a 2-way again this season with Boston.  They have not given up on him.
It does put pressure on JD to have an outstanding SL. I like his handle but he needs to improve his shot.

Great!  I was hopeful this would be the outcome, and personally glad it?s decided before summer league.  (My daughter is a huge JD Davison fan because she likes his hair, older style preferred, and is still mourning the loss of Marcus Smart.  One more year of JD Davison, even in Maine, makes for a happier household).

I still hold out some hope for him, but hopefully he can start putting it together this next year.

I?m liking our shot at the G league championship w the addition of Watson and Baylor. Gonna miss Quetta tho, gotta find a serviceable G league center.

Neemias is supposed to be one of the centers and Killian Tillie is the other.

I think he?s talking about Maine, not Vegas.

Keep raking in that sponsorship money!  They got an estimated $10-15 million a year from Vistaprint.

Come on, we all want the Dunkin sponsorship.  The Celtics run on Dunkin.  (Honey Dew is a sponsor, right?  It's time to move on.)
