I feel like maybe Baylor maybe their best option as the back up wing. He might be better than anything out there in Boston?s price range

I feel alot better about our big rotation since Horford/Kornet/Queta are all back. That's a decent bandaid until Kristaps cones back

I like to think Kornet told the team "I'll stay, but you need to announce it as the very first Woj bomb in the entire NBA when FA starts"

Free agent big man Neemias Queta has agreed on a multi-year deal to stay with the Boston Celtics, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Probably at the minimum, largely non-guaranteed?

My guess is first year guaranteed, later years not, like Hauser?s deal two summers ago.

While the Celtics could give him a raise, Spotrac projects the Texas native, who earned $2.4 million last season, will see that figure trimmed to $2.1 million for the 2024-25 campaign.

That sounds reasonable.

Kind of feels like they'll bring Tillman back and that'll be it. Maybe 1 ring chaser chooses to join and essentially replace Brissett's spot (like a Saric or someone)?

It?ll be one or the other (Tillman or FA), but not both.  We have 13 under contract for next year, and we?re going to start with 14 because of tax concerns.

Yep.  Sign one more big and we're done other than extensions.

Scheierman replaces Svi, Brissett's spot gets left open.

Tillman, Theis or Saric.

I think Baylor is a massive upgrade over Brissett. I also think he?s going to be in the rotation

Good question.  Neither Kornet nor Queta were born in Texas, which normally is what is meant when referring to someone as a Texas native.

Tillman, Theis or Saric.

Or sign a depth wing instead, with Q essentially replacing Tillman and the wing replacing Brissett.  Either way, the main drama this offseason will be the extensions.

That?d be good if he?s coming back for the minimum.  I know he?s not everyone?s favorite, but he?s a good fit at that price.
