Harbaugh with the 4th and 3 attempt at midfield.  Not a wise call but that?s what he does. Obviously they have an offense that can convert and a great playmaker at QB, but still not a great idea. KC is going to score.

Good 'ol former Patriot Nelson Agholor blew his assignment in blocking for Flowers. Otherwise, he would've had the first down

That's the KC I've grown to hate...Mahomes scrambling and throws a long bomb to Travis Kelce on 3rd down. SMH

Yeah I mean, the Chiefs O-Line is also lining up incorrectly and false-starting but the refs are literally only calling the Ravens O-Line for these issues  ::)

Lamar is doing all he can. Explosive effort tonight.

Unfortunately for Baltimore this is kind of the issue though, Lamar-Henry is a lethal combo but when the team is down multiple scores in the 2nd half their scheme is pretty mediocre and Henry becomes an afterthought. I think Henry's only had like 3 rushes the past quarter because the team has been down 3-10 points all 2nd half.

Everett?s own Isaiah Likely had an awesome game with an almost epic comeback with that catch decided by inches. Really cool to see him and a great fantasy football pickup.

Everett is going to have a few great alums making big plays in the NFL.  I?m looking forward to Mike Sainristil making his debut this week, and Josaiah Stewart is a Day 2 edge in the next draft, maybe even late 1st.  Too bad Lewis Cine had such a bad injury ? we will see if he can win a spot in the League again.

I thought Lamar burnt too much time during that 1st and goal. He should've just threw the ball quickly knowing he had all four downs with like 20 secs left. Idk, pull a Joe Flacco special and pray for a DPI call and get them to the goal-line.

That failed 4th and 3 at midfield might've stung many bettors who took the over as well lol. That was the half-point killer at 47.5...classic Vegas stripping money lol. And the last play at the end ofc.

There?s no question he would have gone for two as he was already signaling going for two when it appeared the Ravens had scored.

Baltimore's 2nd half clock management last night was atrocious. Burning two timeouts early. And then even on the drive where they had to settle for a FG, they ate up way too much time. They got lucky they got the ball back but barely.

And yeah, as Sparz mentioned Lamar spent the final 25 seconds mainly just dancing around the pocket and not really playing with urgency knowing the seconds were slipping away. In theory BAL should have had 3 legit shots at the endzone and they only had two because of it. Although Lamar also missed two wide open throws so that's on him.

Baltimore will have a great year and play from ahead most games, but I just don't trust them or Lamar in the bigger games. Especially when the team is losing in the 2nd half. Derrick Henry became ineffective as a result and even Lamar just isn't a potent passer, and they ate up a lot of clock trying to call plays and/or with Lamar scrambling around.

Pretty cool story about the loophole concerning tonight.

With a Congressional law that prohibits the NFL from playing on Friday nights, how is the league able to play tonight (in Brazil, of all places)?  A thread....🧵

The 1961 Sports Broadcasting Act gave the NFL an antitrust exemption, allowing them to pool the media rights of all the teams collectively, to negotiate rights deals with the networks.  It is the reason all NFL games are national broadcasts.

In allowing this, Congress prohibited the NFL from airing ?all or a substantial part? of pro football games on Fridays after 6pm ET, in deference to high school football games around the country.

But the timing of the prohibition created a loophole that the NFL jumped through with tonight's game.  It prohibited Friday night NFL games "beginning with the second Friday of September of each year.?

With an early Labor Day this year, tonight is the first Friday of September, the first time this has coincided with the start of the NFL season since 2019.
Thus, the NFL is in the clear with the language of the law tonight.  It won't be able to do so over the next few years.

Finally, as for the Black Friday game, the NFL got around the prohibition there by starting the game at 3pmET.

The NFL is smarter than I thought, they probably hired lawyers in their team to find out all these loopholes to exploit and generate revenues like that.
