All Hill had to do was roll down his window and this would be a non issue?some ppl think they are above the law?
Yes.  Just like everyone else is expected to do and almost all comply with without causing a ruckus.

Of course that's what he should do.  Now what about reality?  Reality tells us that sometimes people are non-compliant.  There could be reasons for non-compliance that we might understand if we weed through their personal histories, but without knowing anything about the people you encounter, suffice it to say that some people will be non-compliant.   Now... the next question is - how should cops respond to the inevitable non-compliance that will occur from time to time.  Do we want them to react in ways that escalate the situation or in ways that possibly turn down the heat?

I don't think anyone has argued that Tyreke shouldn't have just opened the window.  But the reality of non-compliance (in this case pretty minor) is something that cops and other professions (e.g., teachers) deal with frequently.

The first one wasn't his fault, but that 2nd INT by Tua was horrendous.

He's easily the weak link on their offense. Achane is doing great and their receivers are elite but the QB is just disappointing. Tua should be thankful he has the talent around him, not all young QBs have that luxury.

And why do we still get swept by Tua of all people  >:(

Taking the over on 0.5 Tua interceptions was a decision that was very easy for me and one I am pleased to have made.

Because in those games, our own offense struggles mightily. It's not like MIA is putting up 30+ on us, we've held them to low scores but Mac Jones and the Patricia/Judge offense a few of those seasons were hopeless.

First off, that's awful for Tua. 4th concussion in less than two full years now. He might have to really think about his long term future.

Second, assuming he misses some time now which is expected, the Dolphins might be in some trouble. Tua was bad today but he still gives them a better chance to win games going forward than Skylar Thompson.

I'm not joking but the Dolphins should consider trading for Mac Jones. I think Mac Jones in that offense and with McDaniels' creativity can get stuff done. Skylar ain't it.

I'm a Tua fan, but I think he needs to start negotiating an injury retirement.  Collect as much money as he can and leave the game, maybe try to land a media gig.

Not sure why Tua isn?t playing with a guardian helmet. Also not sure why he isn?t sliding feet first.  :-\

I didn't see how Tua suffered the concussion, since I had shut the game off because of how one sided tge game was. I still can't understand why the Dolphins signed Tua to a 4 year extension fir $212M with $167M guaranteed. With his concussion history, the guy could be done with football  at any moment.

Saw someone refer to Tua as the ?Hawaiian Daniel Jones?. Man, that?s harsh.

If Tua retires, does he get the guaranteed money? With two kids, this guy needs to seriously think about his priorities and move on from the game.

Meanwhile Dolphins still has the offensive tools to make noise. Mac Jones might actually be a perfect QB for them.

I suppose if I were him I'd be obsessively seeking medical opinions.  I generally 'know' that the more concussions one has the more vulnerable they are to more concussions.  But I'd want to see the data and assess where I fit into that model - just how vulnerable am I after 4 (knows) concussions in 5 years, what is the likelihood it will happen again, and then, what does the data say about long-term outcomes after this many concussions.   I'd also be invested in determining whether there are protective factors - equipment or altering playing style that could decrease the likelihood of another concussion.  I just hope that the obsession that many players have about playing doesn't get in the way of using good judgment.

As I write this, I also wonder the extent to which the Dolphins will, or should, have a say in Tua's return.  At some point he'll be physically capable, but if all of the data seem to indicate that Tua playing puts him at significant risk for severe lifelong mental and physical conditions, is it ethical for the Dolphins to stand behind Tua's decision to play?

Too bad for the Dolphins Mac Jones is on Jacksonville.

With Tua it wasn?t a helmet to helmet, knee to helmet or head didn?t hit the ground so that?s extra scary..if I was him I?m considering retiring but at 26 it be hard to do
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark
PG- Irving, Rozier, Larkin

I don't know why he put his shoulder down on the play.  You had the first down, slide. You're the quarterback and you're down 31-10.  What's the point of lowering your shoulder into contact? Dumb.
