Tillman shining in post game interview with Abby Chin.

I really hope we're able to bring him back this off-season.  He's got that grit and grind aspect to his game.

I kind of look at Tillman as a potential Horford replacement down the road. He has the build and skillset IMO. Yeah he's not a prolific scorer but Horford isn't either and Horford really started to develop the 3-point shooting later in his career. If they can work with Tillman for another full offseason and year, I like a frontcourt beyond 2025 of Porzingis, Tillman and Queta. Queta is another one, very intriguing and hopefully can have a Hauser-like trajectory where he develops into a nice role player for us.

Luka is as much a cancer as Kyrie

Can someone explain to me how Dallas got a second challenge after the brown challenge at earlier for Luka?s 5th foul?

Did they not challenge it?

They called a timeout and as they went to commercial Breen said they were challenging, but they must have ultimately decided not to do so and just took the time out.  I had noted the lack of commentary on the result of the challenge when they came back from break.

that confused me as well. i thought they challenged and lost the first time.

Play by play has the Celtics calling for a time out, so it doesn't seem there was a challenge. But I went to the bathroom during commercials so I missed when they returned, so no clue what actually happened.

That was Dallas' best shot. Took a 13 point lead early, Kyrie was beasting, Doncic was mostly beasting, the C's had a terrible 4th offensively and blew a 21-point lead, all at home and they still couldn't win. I don't think THJ and their other role players are gonna morph into Steph Curry all of a sudden. Luka and the others aren't gonna learn to play defense in one night either. This could really be over tomorrow night.

I expect signs of quit as well from guys like Kyrie, that's who he is.

I agree. One day off in between games benefits Boston.

Kidd knows he has no answers for the Celtics defense and he knows his guys can?t guard them

So does Kylrie quit in game 4 and we win? Or do they put up a tough fight to not get swept?

The time to put up a tough fight was literally yesterday and this past Sunday. I don't think the Mavs can really do much else besides hope Boston gets complicit. Now could Boston get complicit? I guess. But I give them the benefit of the doubt, they are 15-2 this postseason and have said all the right things and have proven it too. I don't think they are gonna sleepwalk Friday, they will go for the kill.

The guy I feel most happy for is Horford. The guy absolutely deserves a ring.

And it feels like Horford is due for a big game. How awesome would it be if he has a great night Friday making a bunch of 3s and helps the C's officially clinch Banner 18  :)

TP I agree.  Horford deserves this more then anybody.  It would be amazing if he has a career game to close it out Friday.  I don't think anyone is close to JB for MVP but I'd love to see Al have a huge game.  You know he's going to have the adrenaline flowing and hopefully looking like a 25yr old Al.

I just listened to the Windhorst clip

My god Doncic should just retire after hearing that holy moly

And btw, Doris, SAS and many others have also called him out on his ?defense?. It looked obvious today. And he tried foul baiting so hard and it bit him in the backside, leading to him fouling out at a crucial time

It's crazy.  As good as Luka is on Offense he's that bad on Defense.  And it's not just an effort thing IMO.  He has zero defensive awareness.  He has not clue what angles to take, what position to be in.  He's just horrible.

He can't shoot and can't defend.

how the other Western conference teams didn't try and attack luka/kyrie on defense every time down the court is beyond me.

I remember windhorst yellign at the TV during the minnesota series how Ant would attack their bigs and let Luka stand in the corner on Conley or some stiff.

I was very impressed with Tillman in his minutes. Sure he hit a three (cool to see the bench go wild,) but his PnR defense held up well. He also altered a few shots at the rim and seemed to be active on the boards.

His ability to tread water gave Horford the ability to catch his breath.

Also yeah, this Title is for Horford. He has been a great player for SOOOOOO long and it is awesome to see him get rewarded at the highest level for it.

wouldn't be surprised if Horford retired after winning a ring
