I just listened to the Windhorst clip

My god Doncic should just retire after hearing that holy moly

And btw, Doris, SAS and many others have also called him out on his ?defense?. It looked obvious today. And he tried foul baiting so hard and it bit him in the backside, leading to him fouling out at a crucial time

Here?s the Windy clip.

I?m so glad that the national media is finally talking about Luka?s awful defense. Like, you simply can?t be a top player in this league when you literally give away as many - if not more - points defensively as you create offensively.

Hell, Jokic is bad defensively, but Luka makes him look like Gobert.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
I can't even enjoy this win tonight because I am getting bombarded by people on Reddit for saying that I wish Smart could be a part of this run.

Poor guy is being blamed for world hunger and all of the Celtics issues of past years. As if it's just super-easy to win a Title over 29 other teams every year.  Don't get me wrong, I'm as happy as anyone to have had a cakewalk to the a Title - we've earned that after all the heartache

They are +0 in the 118 without him.

Reddit is a cesspool. The Pats Reddit page is even worse.

I wish Smart and Rob were here too. They were gamers and true Celtics, but it just wasn't meant to be.

Good night girls and boys.

Great win. Tough win. Great Team.

Also, maybe fire Joe? He's weird and annoying.

He?s cold in the press conference! I miss ML Carr!

I don't think I have ever heard a ESPN person absolutely obliterate a star like that before.  I agreed with him, everything.
I guess it is just shocking to hear a reporter say that.   Celtics have cooked him all series on def, he has been a turnstile.

I will say from someone that lives smack dab in the middle of Cleveland cavs country having this board to converse, rant, vent,  celebrate, complain and whatever else it provides? I am so thankful. I have been here a long time on this board like so many others. It truly is a community.

I wish we all could be in the same room to watch them win banner 18.

TP. I feel the same. It?s amazing to watch and celebrate/complain with Celtics fans online here and other outlets. We aren?t alone  :)

me too, I live in southern california.   a lot of celtics fans here, but a LOT more laker fans.   I am glad to have our community as well.   TPs for both of you.

In his postgame presser some of the reporters were talking about Luka's fouls and insinuating they thought they were unfair.

Which is absurd. He earned them all, and probably a few more. Maybe he should get into better shape and learn to move his feet.

I am in LA and it is amazing to hear and taste the delicious tears of LA fans  ;D it's misery here when they have to face the fact that we will have more banners than them  ;D

I remember 22 years ago, being on a plane on a Sunday in January to go back to college for the start of spring semester the next day.

This was the day after the infamous Patriots "tuck rule" playoff win over the Oakland Raiders, and there were 2 Raiders fans on the plane who said they were from California and just decided to buy tickets to the game at the last minute, flew in yesterday (Saturday) for the game and so now were flying right back out to go home.

As a poor college kid, from a lower middle class family, I remember thinking how crazy that was, and how expensive it must be to both buy game tickets and plane tickets last minute, and to fly cross country just for 1 day for a game.  Not something my broke brain could fathom regular people doing.

Now here I am 22 years later looking at plane tickets to Dallas, and the cost of Game 4 tickets, and thinking that's not too bad (and wife said I could do it for Father's Day, though I'll probably pass since I already crossed off being in the building when the Celtics win the championship from my bucket list back in '08).

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class
