At least the media today can't bash the Celtics after they went up 3-0.  All of a sudden Windworst says they are awesome.  The narrative today is justifiably so geared towards the horrible Defense and 4th qtr play of Luka.

has there ever been a duo that has been so amazing offensively but so poor defensively?

the whole 4 man panel on NBATV said its

CURTAINS DOWN for the mavs friday

we took their best shots last 2 games

watch us blow them out friday

hope KP can play

I want KP to play sooo bad...even know i know we can win without him that run in the 4th doesnt happen with KP on the floor.

thats where we missed KP. his rim presence and his ability to just play in the post and get an easy shot when things start going bad.

yup. he would not have allowed all those dunks by lively and he could easily catch in the paint and shoot over anyone. easy buckets from 12 feet out. yup he absolutely would have stopped that run way before it took off like it did

So does Kylrie quit in game 4 and we win? Or do they put up a tough fight to not get swept?

How many players have repeated as both NCAA and NBA champions?

Not sure how they come back and win a game. Kyrie went off in Game 3 and Washington played well offensively and finally made some 3's - it still wasn't enough. I can't see this Celtics team, when it's this close to the prize, letting up.
I know it's been their habit, but this is a different situation.

Some people have talked about the conspiracy theory of the league wanting to milk this and maybe push for another game. But I don't think it matters. The NBA is already making billions and organizations especially BOS/DAL are already making a ton. And I'm sure the NBA in partnership with the gambling sites have made a ton from people betting on the Mavs, remember that stat where like 90% of bets went towards DAL (lol)?

It'll be Scott Foster "the extender" tomorrow but honestly, we've actually done well with him for the most part in recent years. And if the league really wanted an "exciting 6-7 game series" I'm pretty sure they would have gone all out in any of the recent games. They probably did, but BOS is just way better. Come out strong tomorrow and they'll fold.

We actually haven't started well in any of the games. In fact we fell behind 25-12 to start yesterday. If they come out with a fast start I don't think DAL will keep up and might just fold.

Luka is ready to quit. Hes almost over the edge. Just needs a nudge.

Bill Russell, for one.  Kareem at the end of his career (when he was older than Al).  Presumably some others from the UCLA dynasty.  I can?t think of any champions from Duke.

I really think Luka is the kind of player to just to go through the motions in game 4. I think last night was their shot. Luka is yelling at everyone at this point. Seems like a guy that no one likes

I will be shocked if we see 30 plus out of Kyrie again also.

The Mavs are not magically going to figure out how to defend overnight.
