Should never have been so close, but they showed some toughness down the stretch.

exactly. they beat the heat, the refs, and jaylen! 8)

I was glad to see Jaylen hit a couple of threes after the slump he's been in.

JB really needs to get the FT shooting under control. Teams are going to start doing a hack-a-JB in the 4th if he doesn’t…  :P

JBs 6 turnovers hurt.

His flagrant foul that led to a 5 point surely didn't help.

JBs 6 turnovers hurt.

It's exacerbated against Miami given their entire defensive philosophy is to be very physical and slap at the ball, which works more often than not when there's questionable ball-handling ability.

...and when the Heat get away with anything!

Seriously.  Celtics up comfortably. Martin pulls a shot out of his butt and then the BS foul on JB followed by a BS and one for bam.

7-0 run there changed the game. Total horse crap

Terrible sequence there for Jaylen, but then he hit a three and finished the great look from JT.

I really like JB - I agree he gives up the ball occasionally - but we've seen that with Jrue (who was great today), Derrick, and JT.

It obviously hurt us big time, but to our credit we didn't wilt and executed when we needed to.  Sign of a good team to pull these games out.  Tatum came up with the big plays.

Robinson really grabbed that arm like he was hurt. Fell down and grabbed it in pain but after he got the call he was fine! The NBA rewards bad acting. That's the new motto for the NBA.

FWIW, my Dad was saying the same thing and I agree, I loved seeing Jaylen just go at Robinson and the team showing some fight. The shoulder push given the positioning was a bit dangerous and could have led to injury, yes, but enough of this "buddy buddy", "finesse" stuff. I wish these guys would play and act tough on the court. Go after contact and just be aggressive.

Say what you will but I thought Denver took the leap last season doing the same. Murray and Jokic just started playing tough and just going at their opponents and occasionally jawing at them.

Miami is built like that too. Even though I think their "Heat Culture" thing is pathetic, that is still a tough-nosed team with tough players.
