I think for the Brooklyn back to back

Al plays the first, KP the second

I did find it funny how with 15 secs to go, only down 4, that arena started to clear out immediately and you hear "Lets go Celtics" and "MVP" chants for Tatum at the line.

What a fraudulent fanbase. And the fact that they have an entire court and jersey designed for "Heat Culture" including a paragraph literally etched into the paint. Sorry but that's so pathetic.

One of those games will be just like the Bucks game last year if you remember before the Break. Where literally Tatum, Brown and our entire starting unit + Brogdon were all out lol.

JBs 6 turnovers hurt.

His flagrant foul that led to a 5 point surely didn't help.

It obviously hurt us big time, but to our credit we didn't wilt and executed when we needed to.  Sign of a good team to pull these games out.  Tatum came up with the big plays.

Robinson really grabbed that arm like he was hurt. Fell down and grabbed it in pain but after he got the call he was fine! The NBA rewards bad acting. That's the new motto for the NBA.

+100000 exactly what I said earlier in the game thread.   looked like he dislocated his elbow based on him wriggling in pain on the ground.  1 min later I am fine and hit those fts from the acting / flop.   I don't know if it should have been a flag or not, maybe I guess.   But then the refs need to call it both ways too.  Robinson wouldn't dis-engage, give him a T then.  What is jb supposed to do just let him lock him up after the play is dead?

Heat just got away with mauling us the whole game.

The Rondo-Wade incident and Olynyk-Love come to mind. It was definitely a flagrant. Just glad they didn't make it a Flagrant 2. But still, I loved just seeing Jaylen jawing at Robinson during the entire sequence. This team needs to be tough out there and assert themselves. Nothing is gonna get spoon-fed to them. If you wonder why teams like Golden State, Miami, Denver, etc. have made and/or won multiple Finals in recent years, it's not just talent, it's also being tough and not wilting under pressure.

while i understand and agree with your larger point, jaylen’s version of toughness won’t win us any games, and will likely lose us playoff games. if you’re going to get physical and jaw at opposing players (to your point, similar to denver and GS), you must back it up with quality play. like it or not, jaylen acted tough but wilted in crunch time.

I wouldn't point to GS as a team that doesn't do stupid tough guy stuff! LOL

They really should have thought of a different marketing angle for their team.  It's well-known how weak Miami's fan base is.

They would be weak if they had a fan base.

That PA announcer was louder than the Heat fans today. Maybe the only time it felt loud was when Jaylen and Robinson were going at it. That's it.

No one talking about Bam's crotch shot on KP. That was terrible.

The C’s have finally learned to show up against this team. That is much different than previous years. It would still be a dogfight of a series but I feel much more comfortable with their chances against them now.

KP and Holiday make a huge difference.

Yes, Porzingis especially seems to love the physicality and intensity. He goes at the opponent even more with a sinister smile on his face as the game gets more intense, and he keeps his calm throughout. I give some credit to Mazzulla too. I think his mindset on toughness is starting to reach these guys.

Celtics winning games with their C effort and execution right now.

That is good in my eyes. They have avoid long losing streaks this first half of the season.

Duncan Robinson is a poser. Give him the Oscar for that crap.
