Seems like a good system fit to me. Probably not great upside, but who knows.

watson is a 6'8" PF from gonzaga.

41.2% 3 pt shooter, joe will be happy.
7.1 rbs/g
2.6 assts/g

Very low volume of shots, however.  If he can feel comfortable shooting more frequently, that would be good.   My guess is he passes up anything that isn?t a perfect look.  Something to work with, but probably not a usable NBA skill today yet.

Anton Watson

Measured 6′ 7.50? barefoot, 8′ 9.00? standing reach, 233.4 lbs, 7′ 0.00? wingspan, 27 standing vert, 32.5 max vert at the 2024 NBA G-League Combine

not a consistent ft shooter, shot but 40%  from 3 last year

don't need Bronnie drama

Anton Watson doesn't sound like a rotation guy to me.  But there's value in a third-string guy who can be a strong defender and glue guy when called upon.  If his defensive ability translates, that's a decent pick.

Another 5 year player who will be 24 to start the season.  Not much upside, but might be able to help soon.  It?s all about maximizing our chances over the next few years.  It?s not an exciting pick, but it makes sense.

Can?t expect much from a 54 pick, if they work out and even become a decent replacement level player great, if not it?s no big loss.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

I wonder if Bronny is embarrassed.

I know. Horrible parenting - such blatant nepotism. I?m embarrassed for their whole family.

On the bright side, with two 5 year 23 year old draft picks summer league success is right around the corner.
