Not sure what that means.  Mac Jones resembles Eason physically also.  Tony Eason has the infamy of being the QB that the Pats took with Dan Marino still on the board.  Eason did lead the team to a Super Bowl though.  Are we going to pick Maye and then have maybe JJ McCarthy become a Hall of Fame QB?  You never know.

Drake Maye has prototypical NFL QB physical traits.  He is 6'-4" (same as Eason) and 230 lbs (Eason was listed at 212 lbs), so yes, similar.  Mac Jones is 6'-3" and 220 lbs,  Drake Maye is reported to have run a 4.65 sec 40-yd Dash.  I can't find any specific time for Eason but I don't remember him being nearly that fast.  Mac Jones ran 4.91 sec.  Josh Allen is 6'-5", 238 lbs, and ran 4.75 sec (all pretty similar to Drake Maye).

So there you go.  Drake Maye could be Josh Allen or even better if he doesn't turn the ball over as much, or he could be Tony Eason (who took a team to a Super Bowl  but was considered average at best) or he could be Mac Jones (who lost his job to Bailey Zappe).   I am starting to get the feeling that it is Maye who is going to be available to the Pats at #3.  Williams goes #1 and WAS goes for Daniels, thinking that mobility is a must for a modern QB.  I feel like he is closer to Josh Allen than Tony Eason or Mac Jones.  Great athlete, great arm, but can he take care of the ball at the NFL level?

I mean his face literally resembles Tony Eason.

Not sure I see that.  To me Eason looks more like John Elway.

Chiefs WR Mecole Hardman leaked Jets' gameplan when they played against the Chiefs earlier this past season. The Jets also lost to the Chiefs.

(Per @TonyPauline)

Pauline actually has a really good track record with rumors, and there are others who are indicating that a deal could be close and Atlanta is making a strong push to trade for Fields.

Wonder if it ends up being that pick swap plus 2nd rounder rumor.

Yeah, it’s crazy.  If the Broncos do anything but tank this year I will not be happy.  Literally 1/3 of the cap is going to Wilson — there’s no digging out from that in a single year when your baseline was already a bad team.  Every move they make should be for 2025 and beyond.
