Jaylen had a great year.

When you consider all the criticisms he got after the 2023 season ("left hand dribble issues", choking Game 7 against Miami, the turnovers, etc.) and then see how much he improved and played a huge role in the 2024 season (including ECF MVP, Finals MVP), yeah he deserved it. A lot of people could have folded or let the criticisms/pressure get to them but JB put his head down and went to work in 2024.

Jaylen?s game last night reminded me of a Jordan type of performance.  (And no I?m not comparing JB to Jordan as a whole).  It was more of a mindset, that no matter what you do I?m going to get the ball and dominate over you.  He had that over the Pacers last night.  He was a man amongst boys.  It?s a tough thing to sustain, but awesome to witness when it happens (unless it?s an opponent doing it you).  The ability to do that consistently is what set Jordan apart.
