Who's that poster that has something in their byline about trading JB?

Yeah, it's time to change the JB and Joe stuff. Enough is enough. For all of Celtics kind, just get it done.
There's 1 more game to win, and we'll all live happily ever after.🙂

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I am so proud of Jaylen. He needs to win FMVP.

I didn?t follow college much at all when he came out. Murray was my guy based on surface analysis. Jaylen has horrible analytics and I didn?t know how Cal played at the time.

He had his press conference and said he was ready to tear someone?s head off and I thought, ok, let?s see what he?s got. Then he had like 16 rebs in a SL game and I decided I liked him.

He has had his flaws and he sucked in Heat G7 last year, but for the past 2 years he?s been excellent. I think he and Murray can duel for supremacy for another 5 years before it?s decided based on the teams they?re on and what?s at stake.

But I said before playoffs that after Murray?s playoffs last year, Jaylen had to prove it this year to be ?clearly better.? Well, he did.

Way to go JB. Love how you are wired. Let?s finish this.

Brown played a fantastic game.  8 assists and just 3 turnovers.  Not hunting shots and playing mostly off the ball.  Functioning as a high level #2. When he does that, he plays winning ball.  He doesn't play that way all that much, that is the issue.  That is why over the entire playoffs he has a -11.7 on/off differential per 100 (he was -14.3 before last night - it was a huge game for him).  It is why he has the lowest straight +- per 100 of the top 6 (Hauser is better as well).  When Brown plays like a #2 he is awesome, most of the time he plays like a #1 and he isn't good enough to be a #1. That is where the impact goes away.  Play stylistically more like last night, all of the time and this argument goes away because the numbers will reflect it.

2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Nah, you were wrong and still are. He?s been playing like a 1, as in Finals MVP.

You?ve been saying this for years.

Do you have any hard data to support it other than the flimsy +/- you trot out every time?

That?s all we really need to know I think.

Putting up 30/8/8 vs NBA finals defense, stakes, and scrutiny in fact is not something Jaylen needs to do every game to quote be a number one.

That?s something he needs to do to literally be better than peak Lebron.

Jaylen was the best Celtics player on the court yesterday.  He's been the best Celtics player in the entire playoffs IMO.  His efficiency and D have propelled him ahead of Tatum in this years playoffs.  Outside of shooting JT has been amazing as well.  We have a 1A and a 1AA and it's been a beautiful thing to watch.

its funny people so badly don't want to admit they were wrong that they are holding onto their poor opinions.

Really not very interesting.  Watching the C's game after game, JB is a terrific player - has been for years.  This year he not only improved offensively, but played consistently solid defense and - especially over the course of the playoffs - demonstrated leadership.  JB helped turn this team from a weak-minded unserious team, to a team that is a game away from capturing a banner.  Steady.  Serious. Great.  Your stats convince me of absolutely nothing.

When he was drafted, people had concerns he was too intellectual to focus on the NBA.

He has been my favorite player on the Celtics since his first Summer League. I am so grateful that this team has stuck with him.

I respect that most of the stats and everything point to Tatum as our best player. Jaylen is just my favorite. I love the intangibles. He tends to have rip your heart out moments all of the time. His dunk during the run late in the third in game 3? Electric.

He is the fire to Tatum's ice.

Yeah I don't get it.  People are just stubborn I guess.   Congrats to both JB and JT on a great game 3.  We need both of them.
