Celtics were up 108-99 with 2 minutes left in regulation so that's a pretty horrific loss beyond it coming against the Hornets.

Yup! Total meltdown. It's what this team does. They play the score and not the team. SMH

And the choke is complete! These boys sure love a good panic job. Well deserved loss.

Shout out to Joe too for not alerting the refs about that clock screwup at the end

I mean, can you blame him? HE WOULD ACTUALLY HAVE TO DO SOMETHING, MAN! That's way too much to expect of a head coach. He's here to collect a check and "let them figure it out themselves".

He's such an incompetent Timeout Gollum.

All the Celtics including Joe M we’re flipping out about it, the refs just ignored them and were preparing to inbound the ball, so Joe said “forget it get your heads back in the game, they’re inbounding!”

Should Joe have walked out to half court to disrupt play and gotten himself ejected in protest?

Nah, Joe should've tackled a ref and instigated a brawl /s

Same team as last year, only now we don’t have a 2029 pick and we have blown past the 2nd apron.

This was one of my concerns about Holiday. He's a pretty big choker IMO coming to a team notorious for its chokes.

We gave up a lot for Holiday. Wish we could have kept the younger Smart at a much lower salary and still got KP. I don’t hate Holiday, but he might be worse than Smart offensively. He’s been really bad on that end

Bucks will try to prove a point Wednesday. Celtics will treat it like a preseason game with their poor effort.

I just wish Jaylen Brown could've been packaged for that Clippers haul when we had the chance.

-23 with 5 of 17 from the field. Abysmal.

As i stated earlier. the celtics' have been messing around these past several games not respecting their competition. Can't get stops, offence looks disinterested. Joe just playing around with lineups. they need to stop messing around. This isn't a championship team right now, despite what the record says.

You realize they’re coming off a 6 game winning streak and still have the best record in the league?

yup absolutely. I am a diehard fan and these guys will hopefully figure it out,but they're far too disinterested. It's a product of us playing late may basketball year after year, but if a 7 game series happened tomorrow, I don't think their compete level is there. They rely too much on talent. When you can look at a calendar and schedule a loss, it's never a good thing.

Additionally, second night of back to back. Without our first 2 off the bench. I certainly am not saying the sky is falling, but they've been getting by on talent for the past several games. The coach or a leader needs to tell them this is unacceptable.

Sad but true.
Everyone wanted to anoint this team after being in first place after 11 games.  Last years team started the season amazingly hot and looked better than this team
They still have potential to be a true title contender but it’s far from a given.

Eh, they were missing Rozier. This isn’t a team we should have any trouble beating. They literally have the worse defense in the NBA

Smart's out 3-5 weeks so I'm good with that.

If they beat Milwaukee in a few nights we’ll forget about this one

Bucks have been playing like all-world beaters lately too with a 5-game winning streak, they just smoked the dang Wizards.

They have their calendars marked for Wed night. Don't think it'll end well with the C's.

 ::)

We also smoked the Wizard (since that's the bar for being elite?) and just ended a 6-game winning streak.

I completely expect us to win on Wed vs the Bucks.   That is what this team is.

Big important game, usually get good effort, games against the worst teams in the NBA we just act like we can't be bothered and throw away wins.
All wins count the same no matter who you beat.  I think our team needs to be reminded of that.

Yeah, we had a 10 point lead or so in the 4th.   We completely just let off the gas, and they hit a shot or two and we just did our turtle move and went into the shell hoping they would miss.
