Still can't believe he gave up Brown for 36 y/o Paul George and picks.

And didn't take Giannis + Portis for Brown, Hugo/Baylor, and picks.

Brad will be held against this.

Yep. We should be looking at a Pritchard, White, Tatum, Portis, Giannis starting lineup. Bench consisting of Connely, Hauser, Harper Jr, Walsh, Queta would have been serviceable enough. Maybe they are able to entice a Beal or KCP to join for the vet min. Brad should lose his executive of the year award for making such a blunder. Celtics would have been a top 3 team in the NBA, but instead they are likely a first or second round playoff exit. Once again..

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

The only problem with your logic is that neither of you know what was actually on the table with Milwaukee. The idea that it was done if Brad gives up Baylor/Hugo is assumed, not confirmed. And unknown whether JB indicated he wouldn?t sign longterm with the Bucks. If it was there for the taking I agree with you it seems the sensible thing to do.

Of course there?d be folks here saying the future of our franchise is in the hands of a man with an injury waiting to happen.

Until Bill Chisholm came along, Brad made moves to make the team better on the court.   Since, Bill Chisholm came along Brad has made moves to improve our bottom line.    I blame Wyc for selling the team to Bill Chisholm, and Bill Chisholm for being a cheapskate.

I don't blame Wyc. It wasn't his decision to sell and so I don't think the buyer was his decision either.

how was it not Wyc's decision to sell and how was it not his decision who to sell to?  He was in full control of both situations.

Not sure, but I think the decision to sell may have been Wyc's father.  And who to sell to?  Well, I think you take the best offer.

There were others buyers, Stephen Pagliuca and  Friedkin Group, my understanding is he did not have a chance to up his bid.  Maybe he would not be so cheap.   I will lay off this topic when I see them spend for the betterment of the team.   It won't be this year.  I seen the money ball movie and it failed miserably when the Browns hired the architect of it.

Of course, they'll hide behind the new Collective bargaining unit.   This will be there mantra, what other teams has it affected?  The Thunder maybe, but expect every team to blame it for every unpopular decision hence, forth.
