A new detail has emerged about the Celtics' efforts before trading Jaylen Brown to Philadelphia. 👀

According to @JonKrawczynski, Boston previously offered Brown to the Timberwolves in exchange for a package centered around Rudy Gobert and future draft capital.

Minnesota reportedly wasn't interested, and the deal never got off the ground. Instead, Brown was eventually traded to the 76ers, revealing that the Celtics had explored multiple paths before making their blockbuster move.
Dang Celtics wanted to get rid of Brown badly but it is his contract was why teams didn?t want him. Way too much money in the future for him

Really like the 2 picks. Cenac reminds me of Chris Bosh & surprise he fell that far. Mitchell can be a good second unit guy if he get shooting better.

Does Cenac have the shot creation to be a star talent?

Or is he just an athletic role player with a jump-shot?
