Tatum might casually put up 45+ tonight

What a stuff by KP!

But, yeah, no movement whatsoever offensively. That has to change.

Is KP the most impactful defensive big we've had since KG?

I mean Rob is great, Horford has been great - but KP is so big and long that his sheer presence inside seems to impact almost every single shot. I don't recall any big having that type of interior deterrence in a Celtics jersey since prime KG.

Refs are not calling the screen game the same way at both ends of the court.  Major gripe of mine with the modern NBA game.

White makes so many smart plays.  He and Jrue are/will be great to have on the floor. JB too when he settles into a role.

I liked what Doris said there. She exaggerated, but we have 5 great to excellent defenders on the floor at the same time. I love the activity tonight, and having Zinger and Tatum behind you let's the guards be super aggressive

Question - is Tatum also benefitting just as much from the extra attention paid to the other stars? I think so.

It's not just KP that has that much more room to work, but now there's two extra players out there in KP and Jrue that are much riskier propositions to help off of than Timelord and Smart.

Tatum may be even more unlocked this year with the extra spacing.

Tatum going OFF!

He definitely looks bigger and stronger out there.

He looks massive.

Too small to play PF, though.  ;)

a whole lotta ‘lets trade jb’ after 1/2 of one game, so much over reaction

this team has a lot of potential, everything isn’t going to be perfect in the first few weeks.   Jrue and JB are the two who are going to have to make the biggest adjustments.  lets give them a chance.
