I don't view Denver a super-team because they have a dodgy bench. Their starting five is awesome but their bench is too weak. It leaves them vulnerable.

As I said earlier, they remind me of the 1988 Celtics. Not the 1984-86 Celtics. Great starting five but not enough depth. Denver are vulnerable.

LAL have done well to get back in this. I thought they were finished. Looked like they had given up their late Q3 / early Q4.

Nuggets haven't taken a free throw in the 2nd half yet while the Lakers had a boatload.

I'm rooting for the Lakers to win just to make it more difficult on a likely Finals opponent, but the whistle the Lakers get is disgusting. Even scrubs like Reaves are getting such favorable whistles.

Why in some circles are the Celtics considered a “super team” and a team like the nuggets aren’t? They have the best player in the world and several high level players at every position with good size and all in their prime. Gonna have to play all time special to beat them.

While he is the best player in the world the nuggets only have one player that has made an all star game (unless we count deandre Jordan). The Celtics have 4 including 4 that were under consideration. It’s not really difficult.

The Celtics also won more games and had double the point differential. Denver at +5.3 points per game. Boston +11.4 points per game.

And yet both times we played them they schooled us.
Look I know we had a better regular season but with all things considered I think their talent is every bit as good/better.
Jaylen brown likely is never an all star in the west and Murray surely would’ve been by now in the east…those arguments don’t carry much weight for me

Denver had a 33 wins 8 losses home record this season.

As did OKC. Both behind BOS at 37 wins 4 losses.

You are being willfully naive.

Lebron is doing absolutely nothing this quarter lol

It’s all AD otherwise the Nuggets are just in control.

No amount of media hype is going to make the Lakers a good playoff team.

Another game with interesting rebounding differentials. LA has only 4 offensive rebounds to Denver's 33 defensive rebounds. An offensive rebounding rate of 11% / defensive rebounding rate of 89%. Denver owning their defensive boards.

On the other end, DEN has 15 offensive boards to 34 defensive boards for LAL. About 31% offensive rebound rate. Or 69% defensive rebounding rate. Aaron Gordon with 6 off rebounds and Jokic with 3. 6 offensive boards is huge from Gordon.
