That's NBA Champion Jordan Poole, to us.

Worst contract in the NBA?

Wizards coach Brian Keefe says Jordan Poole will be coming off the bench tonight. Said the decision was made in the best interest of the team. – via Twitter VBenedetto

"Best interest of the team" my ass, lol.  They suddenly decide to try to win almost two thirds of the way through the season?

They're better off letting him keep driving the tank.  It's the one thing he's good at.

GS definitely made the right decision to dump him. Poole has only had 1 year where he shot over 36% from 3pt. This year, he’s shooting 39% from the field and 30% from deep. Also plays poor defense.

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

Utah Jazz forward Otto Porter Jr. has returned home to evaluate his options for the remainder of the season and will not be with the team Thursday night when the Jazz open the second half of their schedule against the Charlotte Hornets, league sources tell The Athletic. The 30-year-old Porter, whom the Jazz acquired two weeks ago when they traded Kelly Olynyk and Ochai Agbaji to the Toronto Raptors, is fully healthy and ready to play, according to league sources. His options include accepting a contract buyout from the Jazz, which would allow him to sign with another team. Porter would have to sign with another team by March 1 to be eligible to play in the postseason. – via The Athletic

First, my pet peeve:  why do NBA reporters keep repeating the misinformation underlined above?  They should know better.  A player needs to be bought out by March 1, but can sign with a new team any day before the end of the regular season and still be playoff eligible.

Second, if he were up for it I'd sign Porter to get an inexpensive look at him leading into next season.  If healthy, he's a decent rotation piece.  That said, I think he's going to want playing time.  Going back to Golden State seems like a desirable option.

The Oklahoma City Thunder are waiving Aleksej Pokusevski, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium. Pokusevski was the Thunder’s No. 17 pick in the 2020 NBA Draft and played 150 games across almost four years. pic.twitter.com/1m8d86W10C – via Twitter ShamsCharania

Should Brad take a chance? I really liked Poku in the draft, and he had some nice games for OKC.

Poole is not gonna last much longer in this league. And frankly I don't think he really minds either. Just sucks he went off against us in the 2022 Finals. But he got his ring, a 140M contract and is pretty much set. But yeah he blows right now, when Washington benches you that sums it up

I remember that some fans were hyping this kid like he was a cross between Dirk and Giannis.  He did seem to be developing last season before injuries.

Shorter, thinner, and younger version of Kornet.  He is not a good foul shooter...Luke is, for whatever that's worth.  I don't think the Cs need him with Q and X available.

I'm gonna be honest: Anything you do vs. the Wizards should not count towards the MVP race. We literally should take results against the other 28 teams, Detroit included.
