The best players in the NBA this season according to Hoops Hype ratings.

SGA is criminally underrated. Glad he got love in this ranking.

Nuggets are now 10-6. 5th place in the West. Warriors are 7-9. Wow…

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

What a collapse by Miami. Outscored 29-11 in Q4 by the Knicks to lose by 2pts.

Wonder if Heat fans are calling for Spolestra to get fired. Guess he didn’t call enough timeouts.

Not shocked by Warriors record, I really don’t know what happened in 2022. They haven’t been good before or after that run since Durant got hurt.

Denver’s 10-6 record is still a 51-win pace. Hardly struggling. I think they should be around 55 or so, which is pretty much where they will be if they win their next game or two.

51 win pace is good for their team minus Jamal Murray. Murray makes them a high 50s low 60 win team. His absence has been big for them.

Gregg Popovich on chiding fans who booed: 'I have no regrets whatsoever'

Tom Orsborn: Pop: “And then on a practical level, it hurts us more than it hurts them because it just pokes the bear and makes him want to stick it to you even harder and that hurts your team. So, it doesn’t make any sense. It is unwise, so on every level, I have no regrets whatsoever.”

Tom Orsborn: Pop also praised the fans for what they mean to the Spurs and that he believes Wednesday was “kind of a one-off.” But he added the constant jeering of Kawhi is “kind of an indication of the world we live in today. It was hateful, really disrespectful & it was just mean-spirited.” – via Twitter tom_orsborn

I totally agree with this.  They need Murray and they need him fully healthy.  He finally got there for them last season for the playoff run and a good part of the regular season.  This was the first time in a while that was the case.  He seems to drop off even if he is "banged up" and not quite 100%.

I guess this gets updated regularly.  They now have Maxey ahead of Tatum after a couple of statistically bad games by Tatum.  They now have Porzingis now at 27.

They also list by last 7 days and by last 365 days.  For the latter, Tatum is 2nd behind Jokic.  Brown is 13th.

My understanding is that this "Global Rating" takes into account simple or traditional stats but also team performance.  Always fun to look at these things but you can only put so much stock in them.

Despite the allegations, Giddey is apparently playing his game tonight. Huh???

I know Morant had issues but as soon as the league started investigating they basically kept him out of basketball activities. Meanwhile Giddey's playing like nothing happened.

FWIW it also sounds like OKC social media and arena announcer are clearly referencing it with their "music choice" for his entrance + one of the captions on Twitter referencing "15" (aka, the age of the girl he was with). Odd situation

How strong are the allegations?  That's got to factor in here.

Here's about as much as I know:

In a since-deleted post, an anonymous social media user said a girl who is seen with Giddey in videos and photographs was a high school junior at the time. The social media account has since been deactivated.

Could be. It was all over social media though including pics and videos of both of them.

I'm not going to pretend like I know for sure if he committed a crime, but again, there's an investigation going on and it's pretty serious stuff. IF he is guilty, he's basically a pedophile that still was allowed to play an NBA game. Not a good look tbh

Wizards now 2-14. What a disaster that organization has become post-Wall/Beal/KP.

I'm also not sure what the "vision" is when Kuzma and Poole are considered your Top-2 guys and you have them both locked up for a combined 218M

Imagine the racial injustice or discrimination becoming involved now in some capacity. How Morant was treated immediately versus Giddey's issue.  :-X

Sounds like they met at a club? Not good.
