I like that Russell Westbrook has requested to come off the bench to help with the first unit continuity. I feel like he's matured from his OKC days. Stepping up and having that team-first mindset.
But the one that should be coming off the bench is James Harden.
That's a non-starter. Harden would never accept coming off the bench.
Yeah, Mr. "I am the system" would certainly not be happy vying for 6MoY.
I actually had to look, in 5 games (all losses) and 160 minutes for LAC, Harden is -70. Tucker is -37 in 6 games (also all losses) / 94 minutes for what that is worth. I suspect that both will improve as they settle in with a new team (which takes time, just ask Derrick White), but that is really a frightful start to the Harden era for LAC.
