OMG that’s awful. Hope Oubre is okay and can return. He will miss significant time though according to Woj

Philadelphia 76ers guard Kelly Oubre Jr. was a pedestrian struck by a motor vehicle in Center City, Philadelphia tonight and is receiving treatment at a local hospital, a Sixers spokesman tells ESPN. Oubre Jr., is currently in stable condition.

That's terrible news for him, hopefully he makes a full recovery.

absolutely horrible.  hope he recovers quickly.   We have enough injuries in the NBA already from odd things happening in practice and in games, we don't need guys getting hit by cars on foot.
He's been released from the hospital.

This is terrible.  Hit and run.  I really pray for the kid.  It seems he will fully recover but no one should have to deal with this.  I hope they get the person who fled the scene.

Orlando routed Milwaukee. Think Giannis or Dame gonna request for a trade soon? Nothing getting done.

Orlando is pretty good this year. Peoples shouldn’t sleep on them in the East.

Yep, Orlando is a team on the rise. They have defense, talent, size and are young.
Saw Orlando vs Atlanta (Mexico game). Very entertaining game.
Atlanta won, but they were heavily dependent on Young being brilliant.
I like the balance that Orlando has.

another good example of why you need a muti-year tank.

Memphis just beat the Clippers.  I tuned in with only a minute or so to go, just in time to see Smart skid along the floor after a loose ball that he could barely reach with his fingers, but then he flicked his wrist and made a perfect pass to a teammate heading along the baseline for an easy score.  That's the kind of Smart play I miss seeing.

How long until Harden quits on the Clippers and blames everyone else but himself?  ::)

I can't get over how thick Batum is. He looks like an old school PF who should be going down low and bang in the paint.

So different from the skinny Batum of yester year.

Indy using the same strategy on Embiid as they did with Giannis. Put Mylers Turner on an island. Give him no help. Have zero rim protection to protect the paint when Embiid (Giannis) beats Turner on the drive.

Hasn't Myles Turner struggled with Embiid his entire career? Why would you leave him on an island against Embiid?

Embiid has always bullied him physically. Too strong. Pushes him out of the way. Taller, too much length, shoots over the top of him. Physically, Turner has never been able to compete one-on-one with Embiid.

Maxey with the 50 piece tonight.

That Philly duo is firing on all cylinders right now.

OKC is such a strange looking team.

No real PG. They have three wings who can all handle the ball, pass, initiate the offense. Shared ball-handling duties. Giddey, SGA, even Dort.

No real big man. Chet is more of a forward at this point in his career due to his lack of bulk. He plays best on the perimeter on offense and as a roamer on defense. Then they pair him with another forward. A SF really in Jalen Williams. He is what 6-5? He is their bulkiest body when needed.

No real big. No real PG. A tall PF in Chet, three SFs and a SG. Such an odd combination. A lot of fun to watch. You can never tell where they will attack from. So unpredictable.
