No one allowed to play defense on Giannis.

Giannis with worst +/- though weirdly
,
Giannis shooting 15-17 and a 12/1 assist to turnover ratio, but is a -14, that's gotta be some kind of weird efficiency/inefficiency record.

After 18 months with their Bigs, the Littles were: 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, 27% less likely to use alcohol, 52% less likely to skip school, 37% less likely to skip a class

Oh man. I knew the Bucks schedule was difficult the rest of the way, but not THIS difficult. Outside of a home & home against Charlotte at the end of February and a three game stand at the beginning of April and a random single game against the Nets, it looks like they are exclusively playing playoff and play-in teams the rest of the way - 20 of 26 remaining games against playoff-level competition with 14 of those away from Milwaukee.

Not only are they in serious danger of not having home court advantage at all, there’s an outside shot that they fall back into that 6-8 seed if one or more of Indy, Miami, or Orlando get hot.

Ideally, I’d like to see them fall to 6th with Philly at 7th. Keep both of them out of our side of the bracket just in case.

and considering its a battle against even teh G-league Grizzlies each of this is gonna be a battle. if it wasn't for the knicks going backward they already would be #4 seed.

wonder if gallo regrets signing with them lol. not even sure why they signed him.

At this rate they might miss the playoffs if they fall out in the play-in rounds.

The Pelicans look ready to take advantage of their pick swap, if nothing else.

dame being an all-star starter and KP not making it is a disservice.

Not to the Celtics title chances.  I for one don’t need a repeat of the Kemba Walker All-Star experience.

Porzingis is on pace for under 60 games. He missed way too many games to be an all star, which isnthe same reason Butler and a few others aren't on the team either.  And even if Zinger didn't miss that many games, I'm still not sure he is more worthy than others anyway.

Bucks called Celtics owner before hiring Doc Rivers

But the Bucks did make at least a few phone calls asking about Rivers — and that included Celtics co-owner Wyc Grousbeck. Speaking on WEEI’s “The Greg Hill Show” on Friday, Grousbeck revealed that he was a reference call on behalf of Rivers. “I love Doc,” Grousbeck said. “I got a reference call on Doc from the Bucks. Truthfully, I made a truthful statement, of course. I said we would not have won it in 2008 without Doc. He took that team, molded it together and led the way. He had a ton to do with the championship, and he’s always going to be very special. Very special friend of mine.” – via Booth Newspapers

At some point you have to blame the performance on the court on the players on the court. Every loss is not the coach's fault and every win isn't because of the players.

I’ve always thought the C’s won in 2008 DESPITE Doc, not because of him.

And they probably win in 2010 or ‘12 with a more capable coach, imo. But I do like Doc as a person and motivator.

Good thing the Bucks gave Doc that 40M extension!

I'm saying it right now. Giannis AND Lillard will be gone from Milwaukee after 2025. Lillard always wanted a team like Miami and he probably still does. Giannis definitely seems poised to leave too, the Lillard trade + Griffin firing among other things seems to indicate it. These are last ditch efforts to try and appease the superstar. Can't blame Milwaukee's front office but come on... we've all seen it. We know how this ends. Only exception would be if they miraculously make a very deep run or even win it all but who is honestly expecting that?

Too bad wanting to win isn’t getting it done for them right now.
