Sounds like GSWs are considering trading anyone but Curry to salvage the ship. Any chance Lebron goes to Golden State by the trade deadline?

What is Golden State trading that LAL wants?? Kuminga + Klay? Kuminga + Draymond + 1-2 more players? I don't think that helps the Lakers though, they need Lebron + AD together.

The Warriors need to offload 1 of Klay or Draymond for better complementary pieces around Curry, the problem is there's no way Draymond will be wanted by anyone at least during this deadline for his "issues", and Klay just looks washed. Maybe a bad team can take on Klay's contract but again, how does that help GSW right now? They feel kind of stuck. Might just have to play it out.

Maybe one option is Pascal Siakam? Kuminga, multiple 1sts + a salary dump player

Kuminga, Klay and picks. The Lakers aren't winning with this roster and should look at rebuilding. Move AD in the offseason too. Lebron is 39 years old and on a short deal. They can't expect the type of return they would get for an all-star in his prime locked up for 3-4 years.

Only 3.5 games separates the 1 and 6 seeds in the West. That'll be chaotic

They should add a 3rd round and make a full minor league i.e. all teams have a fully dedicated minor league team with better rules regarding exclusive and non-exclusive players.  Allow high school players to be drafted and even if you don't let them in the NBA, they can play in the minors with a better salary.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Bigs - Shaquille O'Neal, Victor Wembanyama
Wings -  Lebron James
Guards - Luka Doncic

Yikes.

Marcus Smart suffered a serious finger injury and will likely be out 6+ weeks

Yeah, just saw that.  Happened vs. Dallas the other night.  Means he’ll miss his return to Boston, which is really unfortunate.

Agree..I alway said every team needs a minor league team to develop players or vets they can call up if someone injured

This makes no sense really. It may make more sense for the NBA, but not sure how it makes sense for the network. Sounds like a ratings bomb in the making.

OKC is beating Portland by 62 right now. What…

Expect tonight's Suns/Lakers game to be very tight and rigged. They need the money.

Don’t think a Thursday night January slate is impacting the leagues finances lol

I’m obviously pretty die hard nba fan but I would only watch if Celtics had one of the top 5 second round picks. NBA is a little arrogant about how much they think fans care about stuff. I also expect IST ratings to go down next year after the series tanked the pacers and lakers for three weeks (at least nobody got hurt)
