Wemby has played only 21 to 26 minutes a game for his last 8 games now. He hasn't played more than that since the 17th of December.

Cam Whitmore looks a lot like Jaylen Brown in transition and when driving in the halfcourt. Similar size, similar athleticism, moves in similar ways.

Heck, Cam might be even quicker than Jaylen on his drives in the halfcourt.

Warriors just got trounced by the Pelicans, 141-105. Golden State has lost 6 out of the last 8 and they are now 3 games under .500.
Missing Draymond

Klay Thompson and Wiggins also falling off cliffs. I get it with Klay but not sure what has happened to Wiggins.

His stats are crazy for those 8 games. Around 20ppg 7.5rpg 4bpg despite only playing around 25mpg.

Denver getting trounced by the Jazz, who are on their way to win their 9th game in the last 11 games, including wins over Denver, Milwaukee, Philly, Mavs, Heat, and Knicks. Pretty crazy how we beat them so easily with how well they've been playing.

As for Denver, I think you've got to start worrying if you're them. OKC and Minny look to be legit and like they're going to give you a run for home court advantage in the playoffs in rounds 2 and 3, which may be a problem given that Denver is much worse on the road than at home with 9 of their now 13 losses coming on the road. And that's not even considering the Clippers being right on their tails, as well as the Kings and Pelicans having the chance to challenge them in the standings, too.

They just don't look as imposing as last year. Some of it may be temporary as a championship hangover, but I also think they've regressed some, along with missing some of their losses, particularly Brown.

Warriors disemboweled by the Pelicans in the Bay Area, but we were subjected to watch this on primetime over the Celtics vs Wolves game...ok NBA.

And yay, Hawks beat the 76ers to help build separation.

Looks like OKC, Denver & Minnesota are top 3 teams in the West..can’t believe I’m type this but I love it
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark

I think you're underestimating the Clippers.

The West is gonna come down to the frontcourts IMO. Last year, it was basically AD and Jokic and obviously that was the WCF matchup. But this year, the Wolves have a more experienced KAT/Gobert, OKC have a healthy Chet, Lakers have AD, Nuggets still have Jokic.

The Warriors are kind of an outlier obviously with their 3-point shooting (Curry + Klay) but usually teams win championships with big man play. A lot of the recent non-Warriors champions had Anthony Davis, Jokic, Giannis. Lebron is a beast anyways with his height/size so he could play center too. Raptors in 2019 had Kawhi but even Ibaka + Gasol made crucial plays along the run. Spurs during their dynastic run featured Duncan. C's last championship had Garnett who was a beast.

The Grizzlies basically lost their frontcourt to injuries right before the playoffs last year so they got wiped out early by the Lakers easily. Some of the other teams just didn't have the firepower to combat AD and Jokic. The Warriors took the Kings out but then had zero answers for AD the next round.

Health is going to be another factor of course for a team like the Clippers but ultimately, a lot of the featured players on the West teams are the PF/C. And Lebron who is pretty much capable of playing anywhere including PF/C

Or they could have flexed and gone with the Spurs-Pistons game.   ;)

Speaking of the Pistons, since their last win they've now lost 6 in a row since  :P

1-34 in their last 35 games. Woof

Sounds like GSWs are considering trading anyone but Curry to salvage the ship. Any chance Lebron goes to Golden State by the trade deadline?
