If the Niners were smart, they'd double Kelce and just force the others to beat them. Rice has been great for them but he's not a game changer on his own. The Bills and Ravens for some odd reason just left Kelce wide open even at the LOS and didn't even try to rough him up. Made zero sense. We all know Kelce is a beast but at least try to actually cover him, or maybe make contact with him around the LOS and force him to get physical. Kelce is not a physical player and not a good blocker, he's more of a receiver. Remember the 2018 AFCCG? Kelce even admitted he thought the Pats played "extra physical and grabby" but it wasn't a shot at the Pats or the refs, I think it was the Pats gameplan to actually play physical with Kelce and not leave him open/untouched. Frustrate him too.
KC's not winning due to offense, it's primarily their stout defense led by Spagnuolo. That said, the Dolphins, Bills and Ravens all let KC have pretty easy drives early on and they were playing from behind for some time. Not a good recipe. Niners won't win again if they fall behind 10-0 or more early.
