The NFL has to love this.  So many teams have something on the line this week.

Yeah. And as much as I disliked the change to 7 teams making the playoffs from each conference (I hate that only one team gets a bye)... just look at that 7 seed in the NFC. That's a huge win for the NFL.
I'm bitter.

Yeah, the only two things I really hate about the new format are the Monday night playoff game and the one bye.

No big secret. They're too good. No one but injuries are stopping them this season.

chart just needs a star by the teams that have already clinched. I mean the teams on 1 line is obvious as are the ones not in the 7, but you wouldn't know by looking at that that the Rams are in the playoffs and the Jags haven't clinched.

That first-roud bye for the 2-seed was important. That's how the Patriots won the Superbowl in 2018. They should just reinstate it and bring in a #8 seed lol.

For a team that has a playoff spot firmly on the line, going up against a team basically resting most of their main guys including Lamar Jackson... the Steelers have looked awful today.

Really hope the Texans make it as the 6 or 7 seed. CJ Stroud is back and they'll be a fun team to watch. I'd much rather them than the Colts or Steelers with a backup. (I'm assuming Jags win their game and the division already)

no bye if you have 8 teams in.

First two seeds get a bye, seeds 3-8 face each other.

Or that might be exciting if there's no byes all together, play it like NBA-style. All 8 teams play in Wild Card Round.

With two byes and 6 teams in the first round, you'd end up with 5 teams in the second round (2 byes + 3 winners).

If 3-8 play each other that leaves 5 teams in round 2. Won’t work.

I like all teams play but seed based on record- get rid of automatic home game for winning division. Keeping division winners in is fine but once playoff teams are determined, seed by record.

Ah nevermind, you and Roy are both right. Didn't think ahead after the first-round.

Looks like Steelers are taking this rivalry this year.

Pressure on the Bills tomorrow. And if JAX lose tomorrow too...very intriguing.

Steelers have 2 ways to get in. If either Jacksonville or Buffalo lose, they are in (if Jacksonville ties, they are also in and if the game tonight ends in a tie, they make it)

CJ Stroud scrambles out the pocket and throws a 2nd and 14 to Nico Collins for a first down. Sheeeesh. Stroud looking like young Patrick Mahomes out there.
