Denver can still clinch the division if they win out and KC loses out

Instead they are eliminated  :P

A shame to see the Bengals miss the postseason

Yeah too bad Burrow got hurt. In this mediocre AFC I think a healthy Burrow and the Bengals could have made another deep run.

Primetime Sunday Night with major playoff implications and the Vikings are playing a QB I've never heard of

So far, 0-4 with 1 INT.

Sadly been the story this season in the NFL with all the QB injuries. In the Bengals-Chiefs game they showed a graphic with all the changes from Week 1 starting QBs to now in the AFC. Only 5 teams have the same one play through (Bills, Chiefs, Jaguars, Ravens, Dolphins) though Lawrence was out today too.

Steelers have now finished above .500 again for Tomlin who has never had a losing season.  Steelers can still make playoffs if they beat the Ravens and Dolphins beat the Bills, which would also eliminate the Bills. That would be pretty funny actually.

Has to be that ravens rest their starters next week right? In addition to being meaningless they would much rather have Steelers in playoffs than bills. (Although if Tua is out bills should win pretty easy).

Ravens have a bye so I don't think they rest at least the full game.  Probably play starters the 1st half.  I don't think the 7th seed is going to beat the 2nd seed this year, so I don't know that it makes much difference to the Ravens who the 7th seed is.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

This is an odd statement Buffalo can literally still end up as 7 seed? In that case I think they would probably be favored in first round and obviously could win.

Out of franchise culture, losing to the Steelers at M&T will sting Baltimore.

I think their starters will play and will steamroll the Steelers.

Eh Miami lost chub for playoffs and possibly Tua for some time in garbage time today. If Lamar were to get hurt in a meaningless game next week Harbaugh should probably resign. Or maybe play him a quarter. If I’m preparing for my best title chance in a decade or whatever I’m definitely not risking it to beat a rival (and probably make the playoff field tougher in the process).

The Dolphins have 5 losses this season. In 4 of them, they allowed 28, 31, 48 and now 56 points.

Their defense just isn't really good against the elite teams and as weird as it sounds, Tua and that offense isn't really built to win these shootouts where things get out of hand early on. That's what happened in their losses to the Bills and Ravens and those were over by the 3rd.

Don't see Miami beating Buffalo next week, so if that happens, it's likely Buffalo the 2 seed.
Not only that but their idiot of a coach (dumbest smart guy ever) got both Tua and Bradley Chubb injured by leaving them in down 30 late in the 4th. Even a child knows to pull your starters when the game is decided.

Wait, I knew about Chubb but Tua also got hurt??

Omg please don't tell me we're gonna see Skylar Thompson or someone else like that in the playoffs for the Dolphins
I’m hoping it’s nothing. Ravens hit him after he slid after a run and he tweaked his throwing shoulder. He never came back for obvious reasons. What’s most infuriating is that Chubb got hurt 2-3 plays later. You’d think McDaniel would’ve been spooked by Tua’s “injury” and pulled all starters. But he’s too cutesy and stupid to actually use his brain.

No way I would play Lamar against Pittsburgh..it’s a meaningless game for Ravens plus Pittsburgh would try to hurt Lamar, that’s what they do

Last time the Ravens had a bye, they sat Lamar the last game and he was very rusty when they finally played 3 weeks later. So rusty that they got manhandled and lost badly. This team is different, but 3 weeks is a long time to not play a game.

Kenny Pickett apparently refused to backup Rudolph last week and that is why he was inactive and made it an easy call to go to Rudolph again this week.

Maybe a factor in whether or not the Bears keep Justin Fields, the return for the No. 1 pick poises to be "immense," according to ESPN's Jeremy Fowler. Fowler illustrated NFL executives believe the return for this season's No. 1 pick will be stronger than the return the Bears received in 2023 from the Carolina Panthers.

"If the Bears traded the first pick, the return could be immense," Fowler wrote. "Several executives agree Chicago could net more than it did in the Panthers trade, and from a prospective trade partner already picking in the top five. Those execs believe the price to get to No. 1 could be two future first-rounders on top of this year's pick, along with a variation of a Day 2 pick and/or a premium veteran player on a manageable contract."

Last year's trade is the current gold standard for Chicago:  a top-10 first, another first, a second, a future second, and a really good WR.

Just Keep Justin Fields.  JKJF.

Honestly, they could trade down for another haul, draft a borderline blue chip player, and take a developmental QB in the 2nd or 3rd if they really have reservations about Fields.

Yeah.  That's my thought.  The Bears are starting to build a pretty good team, based largely upon last season's draft.  If the choices are Caleb Williams and a third rounder (the projected value of Fields) or Fields + threes #1s and a #2, I see it as obvious.

Speaking of Fields, if he becomes available for a third rounder, or even a second, I think about a dozen teams should make offers.  I don't think he'd be great on the Patriots (unless you guys want to get him killed), but in a place with a good line and decent skilled players, he's a good QB.  Atlanta, Minnesota, Vegas?  He'd be a steal, and he's under team control for two more seasons on his rookie deal.
