Next weekend. Wonder how much turmoil we’ll get versus conference championship weekend

Ohio St @ Michigan
Oregon St @ Oregon
Texas Tech @ Texas
Alabama @ Auburn
Florida St @ Florida
Washington St @ Washington
Kentucky @ Louisville
Arizona @ Arizona St
Georgia @ Georgia Tech

Ohio State-Michigan this week, and then the following week you have Washington-Oregon, Alabama-Georgia, and Florida State-Louisville. The way it's shaping up, the four playoff teams are likely gonna be the winner of Ohio State-Michigan, winner of Washington-Oregon, Florida State IF they win (otherwise they are out), and winner of Georgia-Alabama. What I'm curious to see is, if Georgia loses do they stay in the Top-4 with Alabama allowing for 2 SEC teams to make it in? Since they are ranked #1.

Texas might get the short end of the stick here. Their only hope seems to be winning the Big 12 Title Game, and hoping both Louisville + Georgia win their games. If Florida State wins their Title Game, Texas is definitely out.

Some have theorized Ohio State can still be in the Top-4 even with a close loss but I don't see it, there's just too many other great teams around them and some of them are likely to finish undefeated.

I was at the Maryland/Michigan game yesterday.  I expected Maryland to get crushed and was surprised that the game was close and could have been won by Maryland except for a couple of tough plays.  That said, I was not impressed with Michigan and I see them losing big time to Ohio State.  Also, cheaters don't deserve to win.

If Michigan wins, it'll be because they have the better QB and a better rushing attack, BUT Ohio State's defense is also one of the best in the entire NCAAF and much improved from last year when Michigan also ran all over them. And Ohio State has the single best player on the field between the two teams (MHJ).

It's tough. I personally am not high on McCord, but McCarthy has also looked really meh lately. And while I know they are dealing with the whole cheating scandal drama + Harbaugh suspension, I also think Michigan has played cupcakes for most of the season and the last two games where they faced better teams they certainly looked a bit vulnerable.

If I had to make a prediction, I'd go Michigan wins 34-24. I think being at home helps them too

McCord has looked awful so far. Think he could be the difference in the game with his lousy play.

Yep, and good throw there by McCarthy. 14-3 Wolverines so far

Great half of football in Ohio State-Michigan. McCord looked a lot better later in the half. This might be a close finish

That’s a tough missed FG late for Ohio State. The guy made it but Michigan called timeout to ice him and then he missed it.

Don't think Michigan can win if they can't establish the run to some degree.

McCord is proving me wrong now. Big drive there from Ohio State to tie it.

Ohio State is probably out now. Michigan is in barring a collapse against Iowa next week though even then maybe they can sneak in anyways as #4.

We'll see how the Championship Games turn out, but it's looking likely the rankings this week will be

1. Michigan
2. Georgia
3. Washington
4. Florida State
5. Oregon
6. Ohio State
7. Texas
8. Alabama

But Georgia-Alabama will be huge. If Alabama wins, that could cause some chaos. I still think Texas would have the edge over them since they do have the head-to-head win and are currently ahead of them too. If I had to guess, the 4 playoff teams will be Michigan, Georgia (unless they lose, which I don't predict), winner of Washington-Oregon, and Florida State. Texas, Ohio State and Alabama left out unless they get some help/upsets. I am interested to see how Florida State looks today + next week though with the backup QB. Sorry but I don't take their win over North Alabama seriously

My son goes to Auburn for Professional Flight, he's home for the holiday. That was so ridiculously awful for Auburn. Comedy of errors for both teams at the end, didnt go their way. Soooooo sad sack
