As Yahoo reported, the NCAA turned over new evidence to the school this week alleging that a booster named “Uncle T” — an absolute classic for a cheating booster name — helped fund staffer Connor Stalions’ scheme of buying tickets to opponents’ games and hiring people to film the opposing sideline. Partridge, whom earlier reports indicated was close with Stalions, is alleged to have covered up computer evidence after the fact, according to Yahoo. The Athletic’s Katie Strang spoke later Friday with Tim Smith, the booster connected to the “Uncle T” identity. Smith acknowledged having contact with Stalions but denied wrongdoing.

Outside of a few games, most of the slate seems pretty meh. Georgia-Tennessee, Washington-Oregon State are like the only real great games. I will say though, I love Penix Jr and Washington, but I could really see them getting upset tonight. Idk, just have that eerie feeling. Game's on the road for them too

I will add, the fact that teams like Alabama and Florida State can play Chattanooga and North Alabama respectively this late into the year feels so dumb.

Yeah, this is gonna be the big hurdle for Washington. Haven’t looked terribly great since the Oregon game and playing in Corvallis. An upset wouldn’t shock me at all.  Should be an entertaining game.

OMG Travis might have just broken his ankle/leg  :(

Either way it’s a serious leg injury and doesn’t look good. Just brutal for him and the Seminoles, who are also down 13-0 currently

There might now be a real opening for a playoff spot

I know most people were watching Washington but I sweat my way through the end of that Mizzou/Florida game.  What a nailbiter, it’s always the last leg of the parlay that’s a problem

I defended Williams' for sobbing after the loss last week, but then yesterday you see him not even shake the UCLA players' hands and then didn't make himself available to the media after a 38-20 loss.

Sorry but that stuff does kind of matter to me, and he's pretty much pulled these sort of antics most of the year. How's it gonna translate when he's on an NFL team and they are struggling?

I personally might prefer Maye over Caleb Williams. Williams of course has the talent and ceiling to be the #1 pick for sure, but the attitude is a bit of an issue. Kind of reminds me of Baker Mayfield. He can surely have a solid career like Baker has in the NFL but if it's like Baker, he won't hit his ceiling as an elite player and certain off-field stuff and overall attitude may also hurt him and the team he's on.

But also, some of his comments earlier in the year about wanting "part ownership" in a team and other arrangements. I know those aren't 100% confirmed and likely started by family members, but still, it's kind of a sign that the player + his family are way in over their heads too

His attitude is definitely becoming an issue.  He has way more talent and size than Baker though.  Not really comparable.

Maybe, but I just can't shake off the attitude part. We'll see.

I don't think this is much of a hot take- I don't think Caleb Williams or Drake Maye are that good. They were both Heisman hopefuls and are no longer, only because of their play. If they are not getting it done in college, how can we expect them to save a bad roster in the NFL?

I'd take Marvin Harrison Jr, Olu Fashanu, and Michael Pennix 1-3.

Ohio State-Michigan this week, and then the following week you have Washington-Oregon, Alabama-Georgia, and Florida State-Louisville. The way it's shaping up, the four playoff teams are likely gonna be the winner of Ohio State-Michigan, winner of Washington-Oregon, Florida State IF they win (otherwise they are out), and winner of Georgia-Alabama. What I'm curious to see is, if Georgia loses do they stay in the Top-4 with Alabama allowing for 2 SEC teams to make it in? Since they are ranked #1.

Texas might get the short end of the stick here. Their only hope seems to be winning the Big 12 Title Game, and hoping both Louisville + Georgia win their games. If Florida State wins their Title Game, Texas is definitely out.

Some have theorized Ohio State can still be in the Top-4 even with a close loss but I don't see it, there's just too many other great teams around them and some of them are likely to finish undefeated.
