Should've started Mac Jones. He'd throw tons of INTs.

There goes our sweepstakes for Drake Maye.

Why? Are you predicting multiple wins?

I'm hoping this win hasn't done damage to our prospects for next season. We need Mac to start next week with the Big Picture in mind  :police:

The Patriots aren't tanking and I feel like a weenie for rooting for the tank. I'm still rooting for them to win and get top 5 pick. Tackles Olu Fashanu and Joe Alt both look good.

Do you think we can get Fashanu with a top 5?

I think 4th should be the worst case scenario goal. The 2 QBs should go 1/2 after trades. MHJ or Olu will go 3rd. Just take whichever is left at 4. Alt should go 5th.
It helps the Cardinals are the team closest to us. Alot of pundits think they might give Kyler one more shot next year. I would think they would trade back, but they might just take MHJ at 2

Pats are still the #2 pick. Now obviously if they win one more and a handful of the 4-win teams + AZ lose out, that makes it really difficult in terms of tiebreakers. Could be as low as 6-7 if that happens.

But you can't say they didn't try. Zero 2nd half points. The INT. Tavai going offsides but somehow it being ruled a false start. Trubisky and the Steelers are just that bad  :P

Seriously, the Steelers were 7-4, and in a span of 5 days lost to TWO 2-10 teams

The Steelers are frauds. They are the least talented team that hovers near .500 the last few years. I also think Najee Harris is terrible. He reminds me of a slower, less explosive, less talented Rhamondre who has worse ball carrier vision.

Yep. Also I will add, I found it funny how after every single Trubisky play, the fans were just mercilessly booing. Like you can understand it after a drive ends in a punt, or maybe entering halftime down 20+, but the Steelers faithful were just booing loudly after every play lol. And the broadcast kept showing the Steelers fans looking upset, all in just the 2nd quarter

The Steelers fans should feel lucky they didn't move up to draft him at #2 overall.

Haha they kept cutting to depressed Steelers fans...and I am over here thinking "this is much worse for the Patriots lol."

The funny thing is the Niners mostly botched their end of that trade too.

But, yeah, that was a head scratching trade.

Yeah, the Niners took Solomon Thomas, thought to be as blue chip as they come.  He turned out to be a bust.

At the same time, the other picks the Bears sent out turned into Alvin Kamara and Fred Warner.

I was all-in on Deshaun Watson in that draft, but there was also the option of trading back and taking Patrick Mahomes.

But, it wouldn't be Da Bears if they didn't make the absolutely worst choice possible.

Thanks - I didn’t realize Pats are still in the driver’s seat for #2. Now get back to losing v. The Chiefs.

That false start call was dumbfounding.   I think it’s pretty rare for refs to call a phantom false start.  That was an enormous play.  The rest was just about how thoroughly awful Trubisky is and how weak the steeler O-line looked. The play calls on third&2 and 4th&2 were mystifying.  Trubisky throwing beyond 10 yards were hold your breath moments throughout the game. Amazing he only got picked once.

what the win really did was make #1 much less likely and took out the cushion for #2

Pats still control their destiny for the #2 pick if they simply lose out

But yeah, 1 more win and that's all in jeopardy. That Jets game worries me. If they start Tim Boyle or whoever and are the same record as the Pats, they might just tank that game themselves and have a better pick than NE
