Another good pick to follow Jackie Christie. I like Boozer/West in the late rounds for cheap size and offense.

West was great. Have absolutely zero doubt his mid-range game would translate to deep shooting. Such a strong player in NO and Indy

Sorry about that everyone - had something come up unexpectedly.

The Washington Generals select the nearly-forgotten Derrick Coleman!

Prototypical modern big man. Came just a few years too early IMO, as coaches probably would have utilised him a bit better nowadays. Great skilled big.

I have one player in particular that I was planning on taking with the Buck Williams pick that is still there, so hopefully no one swoops in and steals him.

I always think attitude is a tricky thing, mostly because so much of it - in that era, especially - is filtered through sportswriters, who are hardly reliable narrators. I find with a lot of the guys who played before the players really had the platform they do today that some guys who got an undeservedly bad rap (i.e. the entire Jailblazers squad never really did anything of substance to earn the moniker) and some really deserved the reputation they got.

With their final the pick, the Nets will add some interior defense and toughness and select Dan Roundfield. In 1980 he finished 5th in MVP voting, picked up the first of his 3 1st team all defenses (he has 2 2nd also), and had his only all NBA Team (2nd).  Excellent rebounder, decent passer for a center, got steals, and blocked shots. Often not described without hard-nosed as a descriptor. Exactly what we need for the bench.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

Roundfield was great in his stint at Atlanta. Thought he was a PF though
