Oh good. I can make this comparison now. I see A Bynum as a good proxy for A Gilmore in terms of his size, quickness and movement. So how well Bynum covered on help defense, on PnR, out on the floor defending perimeter bigs. Good proxy.

Never realized Hawkins got so many steals.

I remember his defense getting a lot more credit when he arrived in Seattle. George Karl called him the best defender on his team in 1997. The most consistent. Payton and Kemp more talented defenders but more up and down. Hawk brought it every night.
