Aaaah that's a great pick. Great picks all around tbh this round.

Knowing nothing about baseball, I had to google this.

It seems they might be pals

The Brooklyn Nets will select League MVP George McGinnis. Aside from 11 games from a not going to be drafted player, McGinnis and Gilmore are the only 2 eligible MVP's. Sure they were ABA MVP, but the point remains.  I will likely take McGinnis' 1 full season in Denver when he shared the floor with his teammate here Issel and Thompson and still went for basically 23/11/4 with 2 steals and a block.
2025 Historical Draft - Cleveland Cavaliers - 1st pick

Starters - Luka, JB, Lebron, Wemby, Shaq
Rotation - D. Daniels, Mitchell, G. Wallace, Melo, Noah
Deep Bench - Korver, Turner

There he goes. Man, what could’ve been in the 90s with Bias and Lewis. We’d be looking at more than 17 banners right now.

I was umming and uhing about McGinnis. Supremely talented, just wasn't sure of the fit. Think the Denver season is the right call - he was more efficient and less ball dominant
