Smart said he's still trying to process it and is still shocked.

Smart needs to understand that NBA is a business. Loyalty should not matter on both ways in business aspects. We've learned that the hard way many times with this franchise.

He said he understands that. Doesn’t take the shock away though.

Take this to another thread at least.  I’d give you all the negative TPs I could if that were possible.

Thanks for the memories Marcus.

He was a dirt dog and always gave 100% so he has my respect.

But from a talent perspective, I see why we made the trade.

Porizingis is a 7'2 center who can score both inside and outside and adds an extra dimension to our offense whil also adding rim protection.

Best of luck to you Marcus, just not when you're playing against us!  Adios amigo!

I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

My heart bleed green. I don't know if it will stop until all my green blood is gone... I am far more devastated than with the IT trade, I was disgust by the way, but now I loose all what made my celtics identity post PP. It's hard, Smart had still many good years to give. Playing (unperfectly), incarning, teaching, fighting, assuming. I guess he paid Mazzula and Stevens mistakes. He was not the problem.

I bet Kristpas will give us one (good or bad) year and then leave. [dang]. Bye Marcus you are what I love in this sport, buisness is what I hate

Smart will always embody being a celtic. We watched him here with the Rondo/trash era, the IT era, Kyrie Era, then this new iteration. Thats why its so tough..

To think, if the Celtics didn't "coast" through the playoffs and act so disinterested at times this never would've happened.

Probably still would've happened if they lost to the Nuggets in the finals. (we would be becoming "that" team).

I hope I’m wrong ,  but this deal just didn’t feel right to me.    All my memories of Zinger are of injuries and complaints.  I have no faith he can stay on the court.

We have too many fragile players to make it to the finish line.

Brad may have really mucked this deal up.

He was pretty awesome last season. Some people are late bloomers mentally. I didnt pull my head out my rear end until my late 20s.
ok fine

and thats why he needed to go. All the things we give Smart extra credit for since he's a avg basketball player he failed to deliver on this season especially in the post season.
ok fine
