I'd grab up Neemias Queta if we could. Big dude! Bouncey!

For the last 2-way spot?  He is already 24 and still rough around the edges, doesn't look like an NBA-ready player currently.  He is running out of developmental real estate but clearly has an NBA body and athleticism (at least based on what I saw in the highlights).

A little raw but big and strong and mobile...

TP for being on target!  Welcome a new Celtic.

I like Queta for a 2-way. I remember talking about him a bit when he was coming out of college. He's a genuine big - 7' tall, 250lbs, 7'4" wingspan & 9'5" standing reach.

He was also unreal at G-League level, running up in the MVP there. He averaged 17/9/3/2/1 on 68% from the field and 80% from the FT line in just 28MPG.

He's big, strong, & athletic. Bit raw, but nonetheless a good rebounder, highly efficient, can shoot FTs, an alright passer, and intimidating rim protector. Ideal 2-way guy

Gary Washburn- Malcolm Brogdon still upset with Celtics over offseason trade talks. Relationship could be in peril.

Could this be Washburn stirring things up? I mean it’s understood that Malcom wasn’t happy about the non trade. But there hasn’t been any reports that he wants out? In fact I read on one of the threads here that he’s in Atlanta working out with Al in preparation for the season. How reliable is Washburn?

If he pans out, his contract could be converted into a regular one in order to make him eligible for the playoffs right? He could very well be the emergency big that a lot of us here have been hoping for.

Anyone care to opin on how he compares to Udoka Azubuike? The similarity is that he is also 24 and a big body, but listed on BB reference as 6'10" 280lbs. If you recall, Azubuike did nothing in SL.

He is clearly a project. This is exactly the type of player you want on the two-way contracts. I think at worst you can say he will be better than Kanengele. At best, he takes a leap and actually helps the team along the way. I don’t think the latter is all that likely, but it is a two-way contract. You can’t expect more.

I think that Queta is already a better player than Kabengele. He's more of an athletic freak. Queta is bigger and stronger. A throwback center that would be playing in the NBA 20 years ago.

The original quote from Washburn can be paraphrased as “I’ve heard nothing, so I’ll assume the worst.”

He’s a pot-stirrer looking for clicks.

I know nothing about Washburn but I’d be surprised and disappointed if Malcolm is pouting. My guess is he’s approaching this professionally and in training camp he’ll say and do ALL the right things.
