I love seeing a team rewarded for playing the right way. Miami does that and the C’s rely simply on talent to do anything. A sweep here might actually do the franchise some good. Nobody is going to give you a free pass to a championship. You earn it like Miami are currently doing!

Agreed. Lotta respect for how Miami is playing.

I still don't think they have much talent.

WHO CARES. THAT MAKES US LOOK EVEN WORSE. WE ARE GETTING KILLED BY A BUM TEAM

CLEAN HOUSE WE WASTED ENOIUGH YEARS WITH THESE DUMB PLAYUERS GET JB THE HELLL OUTTA HERE.

Agreed. This is an utterly shameful situation. BOS is a far far more talent basketball team than MIA. There is no good reason for them to be in this situation. They have done this to themselves.

It is a disgrace.

When Houston won in 1994, Hakeem Olajuwon's team, didn't they lose the first two games at home against Phoenix. That was Choke City headlines everywhere. They lost 18-20pt fourth quarter leads.

Came back and won the series 4-3.

Won the title.

This team is not about talent. They are soft, entitled, lazy, selfish and have zero basketball iq

Had a 13 point lead in Game 1. Had multiple double-digit leads in Game 2 including early in the 4th

And every single time, MIA made a run but also, Mazzulla didn't call timeout or waited until they tied it.

That's a fireable offense. It's not rocket science. Spoelstra meanwhile is calling timeouts beautifully and the Heat typically had great ATOs as well from them. Huge mismatch in that regard.

If Miami has a big lead in Game 3 and/or 4, you bet they'll hold it the entire game and keep a stranglehold on it.

The Celtics have now lost 7 games in these playoffs and I’d be willing to bet they had at least a 10 point lead in all those games….that’s literally who they are.

This team has no chance to win this series. Will get at best a split in Miami and lose game 5 or 6.

This team hasn’t closed out games this entire season. They aren’t starting now.

Jaylen Brown is the biggest issue with this team. He is selfish, has no basketball iq and needs to go

YUP.  SEND HIM PACKING. HIS EXPERIMENT IS OVER

FIRE JOE AS WELL

HIRE NURSE AND TRY TO UPGRADE FOR NEXT YEAR

We won’t get anything of value in return if we trade him now. He’s an unrestricted free agent next year. Either we give him the supermax and keep him for at least a year, or we watch him walk away for nothing. Unless of course JB somehow agrees to a short term non supermax extension.

Trash talking is not working for this team.

Horford did it late in Game 4 against PHI when they went up 5. Game went to OT and they lost.

Horford did it again in Game 1 this series with the "timeout gesture" too when up 62-49, they blew it 2nd half

And tonight, G-Will exchanges words with Butler, and the C's choke late. 20-7 run Miami after that.

I mean I love the emotion and fire, but it certainly looks bad if they can't back it up. Not entirely their faults either, others have needed to step up and they haven't.

You need to know who to do it to. It certainly fired up Buckets, he started cooking GWill every possession. GWill kept up for a while but he was like a turnstile against Buckets. God knows why they didn’t put Tatum or Brown on him, though they would have switched him to GWill in any case. Buckets was determined to school GWill

Trash talking didn't do anything to sway this game. What swayed it was Joe not doubling Jimmy.....like a moron.

What really swayed it was Caleb Martin scoring 25. It’s one thing for Buckets to score, but you get the role players scoring career playoff highs in a must win game mainly with open shots you’ve got some serious problems.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Eh, it can happen. Stars get traded all the time when having a year left. They just make an agreement beforehand, and it usually works out.

At this point, a JB trade around a Trae package or Lillard package is looking enticing. Obvious risks and weaknesses to both of them, but JB is just simply too limited as a star. And while Tatum is a legitimate 1A type player, he's not (yet at least) a Lebron type that can take even a lackluster second option like JB to a championship.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Eh Celtics should’ve won both home games and should’ve been the favorite in this series but the whole talent discrepancy is vastly overstated. There role players are playing better then ours and jimmy and bam are all star level talents

I truly hate Jaylen Brown as a player. He’s everything that is wrong with the sport

If they couldn’t defend your dead grandmother they probably wouldn’t have held a lead with a couple minutes to go in this game
