White and Brogdon are better, but also Smart seems to act like he’s the 3rd best guy on the team. The 3rd piece of the “Big 3” with Tatum and Brown, hence he often plays more minutes and in crunch time over the other two (White and Brogdon).

And make no mistake, but he’s regressed big time for his DPOY caliber play last season. He’s making more loser plays and decisions than winning nowadays

If the C’s lose this round which seems likely, I think they need to package Smart, Pritchard, Muscala and picks to get back another big man. Especially with Horford turning 37 and Timelord being hurt all the time. White, Brogdon and another guard they sign or draft can work just fine in the meantime

There are moments when I agree with this take, but then there are nights like tonight when Brogdon can't stay in front of Maxey or Harden and Derrick White forgets how to shoot and you know at least Marcus is going to give you some hustle. And he was at least aggressive at getting to the free throw line (he was a quiet 8/10 from the line)
