I was watching an interview yesterday evening with Jrue Holiday on the point forward podcast by Iggy and E Turner. They were pointing out that they went just as far (ECSF Gm 7 vs BOS in 2011) as Embiid and the Process have gone (ECSFs with a Gm 7).
That Philly put themselves through all that losing, collected all those high draft picks, got Embiid, B Simmons, J Butler, now J Harden, and they still have done no better than the Iggy & Jrue 76ers who also went to the ECSF Gm 7.
A team was considered not good enough and was broken up - they remind us. And they went just as far as this 76ers group have done.
That is about 11 years of the Process. The losing seasons, the talent accumulation and the failed playoff runs .... and they still haven't surpassed the team that wasn't good enough and needed to be broken up. They still top out as ECSF Gm 7.
