Remember when Dillon Brooks said “I don’t respect anyone till they give me 40”

Well they ended their season with the Fakers beating them by 40  :police:

Did Brooks talk to the media after the game and if so, what did he say? The guy talked so much trash when they won I was hoping he’d man up and talk to the media when he loses but haven’t seen much from him. Brooks was so annoying he almost had me rooting for the Lakers.

Griz were paper tigers all season. West is so bad regular season wise it allowed them to get off to a hot start and cruise.

Lakers v Suns in the WCF if the Kings win game over GS. 7 IMO. GS wins that series, I like them over the Lakers in round 2.

We’re a game away from having both Heat/Knicks & Lakers/Kings rivalries renewed.

Dillon Brooks reminds me of Lance Stephenson. Remember how he had that one playoff series where he looked really impactful, and then suddenly he wanted to get the new contact and he was never the same?

I'll bet Brooks impact drops off the map now. He will still have moments, but any team starting him won't be elite, and he will be an obnoxious player to have on your team.

Seems pretty fitting that this weekend ends with a Kings-Warriors Game 7. Makes perfect sense to close out what's been a pretty fun and exciting first round all around.

I never believed in Memphis, and thought they talked too much and overachieved a bit (idiot Brooks). Sacramento has impressed me even more than I thought going into the postseason. I think whoever wins Game 7 can beat the Lakers in a series. I didn't feel that way before (thought only GSW was capable, not SAC), but I also wonder if LAL can keep up with the pace Sacramento plays with. Their pace is just as fast as Golden State's.

This has actually been a really fun first round. Probably best in awhile. Usually it's pretty boring because the tale t disparity is usually huge.

But Miami, golden state, Lakers aren't traditional lower seeds. And trae young is just amazing on Atlanta.

Ironically the series I thought would be the best suns/clippers ended up being a dud due to injuries

Budenholzer's brother died in a car crash during that MIA vs MIL series. Might explain some of his coaching miscues. His brother died before Game 4.

Wow, that's terrible. Very tough to function so soon after something like that.

Anyone think Sacramento can beat Warriors in game 7 & then beat Lakers in 2nd round?? Hate say this but Warriors got better chance at beating Lakers than Kings..I just don’t want see Lakers winning!

Lakers are dangerous when the play defense like last night. If Kings advance, Lakers in 5. If Warriors advance, Warriors in 7.

Regardless, hate that they have a cakewalk path in the playoffs

I think either GSW or SAC beats LAL in 6. That's my prediction now

And we haven’t seen yet who’ll get hurt in Sac-GSW game 7.

Why do you think that LAL will have that much of an easier time with SAC than GSW?
