I thought it was an interesting reply from Giannis. Some of that Greek stoicism line of thought behind it. I enjoyed it. I don't know that I agree with it but I did enjoy the perspective and looking at it from an alternate point of view.

It is a point of view that has a lot of value in terms of managing long term goals and maintaining focus / work ethic throughout despite suffering setbacks along the way. It is not without purpose or value.

But how then do you handle / value the urgency of a win or go home playoff series? I don't know. It is more of a zero sum equation at that point. Win or lose. Binary. Success or failure.

There is no growing or positives that come out of this for the bucks. They're old and don't have a lot of ability to get better. This year was squandered and there's no way to look at it any differently.
This was their best remaining chance for that MIL core. B Lopez, Jrue and Middleton are only going to get older, slower and decline more. They have no real young talent coming up to replace them.

They will have another opportunity with this group but this season was their best chance ... and they blew it.

They'll probably have to extend Middleton and Lopez as well, but once they do that I'm not sure what else they can really do. And Lopez was coming off a fantastic season (almost all-star like during the stretches where Giannis didn't play; he delivered).

Weird, Jae Crowder is unhappy.

Wonder who would actually take a chance on him at this point tbh. He is no spring chicken

Crowder has become too bitter.  Always the victim.  In the games that I saw, his defense was horrible.  No quickness at all.  People were dribbling right by him.  He decided to sit out a whole season because the team wanted someone else to start.  No one seems to appreciate and understand poor Jae Crowder.  It is too bad, he was a likeable, hard-nosed player at one point.

Milwaukee desperately needed a big wing defender to check Butler, yet Crowder couldn't get off the bench.  Not sure whether that says more about Crowder or Bud tbh, but it probably says something about both.

He’s always been like this though. Even when here he was mad about people wanting Hayward and cheering for him. Seems to just be a bitter, insecure person.

Lol. This guy literally quit on Phoenix after last season and was probably lucky he got traded to a situation like MIL to begin with. Now he's playing "the victim". Please...  ::)

Crowder shot 23% in the series, and allowed Butler to shoot 67% against him.  Small sample, but he didn't earn minutes.

Is his career over? Doesn’t seem like the production warrants the whining and character at this point.

Jae Crowder is a clown and is the reason why Hayward broke his ankle in 2017.

Jae is one of those guys who everybody wants as a wing defender, right up until he actually has to defend elite wings and gets cooked.

Crowder is a bit slow for defending Jimmy. Better used on C Martin or Kevin Love.

It probably was a helpful character trait for him early in his career, with that constant chip on his shoulder propelling his play.  But it has not served him well as age has degraded his skill.
