Gives Horford/Timelord a little bit of rest down the stretch if he can eat up some minutes. He's also not a pure liability on defense (not elite, but not horrid). That's one thing we did need. His shooting ability and size (nearly 7 feet) can make him a sneaky good weapon too. Kornet/Griffin were huge for us last night but it won't always be like that when both Horford and Timelord are out (or even just 1 of them). It’s twitter the lowest common denominator of fans.

QuoteThis is an absolute steal.Since the start of 2020-21, Mike Muscala is top 75 in box plus/minus, with averages of 18.3 PTS, 7.6 REB, 3.7 3P and 1.1 BLK per 75 poss and a 39.7 3P%.Over the same stretch, OKC's NetRtg was +3.0 with Muscala on the floor and -8.1 with him off.Andy Baileyhttps://twitter.com/AndrewDBailey/status/1623726793692942337

Danny always wanted home runs but Brad likes to hit singles, doubles, and triples...

Always thought he would have a knack for this given his basketball genius. You can potentially fault him for some inaction - particularly around the TPEs - but virtually all of his deals thus far have been winners.
Between Gallo + Muscula + Pritchard + Kornet, that's around $16.7 million in expiring contracts next season. That means we could trade them for somebody making around $21 million.

They may not have always fit but he can get talent. Brad can build a team in the image of a coach. He can get players that fit vs one's that may have more talent but don't fit.

Good pickup.I don't understand this. White is not a starter if Horford and RWIII are both available. The depth chart is this:Smart White PritchardBrown Brogdon Tatum HauserHorford Grant MuscalaRWill Kornet GriffinNow we just need a decent vet wing for the final available slot (Gallinari is the 15th roster spot). Horford and Muscala are both hybrid bigs. They can play either PF or C. Griffin may be a little of that too, he was a PF his entire career even if more of a center now. But I think this is more representative of what their roles will be on this team. We are a little light in terms of having a "pure" PF.
