I don’t think I’ve seen the Celtics ever guard DeRozen well

great, start off the second half with yet another bricked 3

I’m ok with that though, it was open as a result of some good ball movement

What I’m not ok with was that offensive rebound from Pat Williams with 3 Celtics around him

I like their approach coming out of the half. Much more aggressive offensively.

9 offensive rebounds for the bulls

That's the biggest hole for us with Timelord out - rebounding. The FO hasn't addressed it at all.

The defense would like a lot better if we could finishing off possessions with a rebound.

The energy is much better to start this half on both ends. Great run to make it a 1 possession game!

Interior defense has definitely tightened up, and easier offense is the result from Chicago misses

Wow, what a change that defensive intensity and actually attacking the basket does for your game! Upped the intensity and we're right back in this.

Yes Rob out hurts massively. But they can’t wobble along until January like this until he comes back

We're 3-0 to start, so we're not exactly wobbling. At some point, an NBA team was going to make a strong run against us. We just have to respond.

This "Let them figure it out on their own" philosophy of Mazzula's when the Celtics' opponent is making a run is just plain stupid.
You have a group that has already been together a fairly long time - if they could figure it out, they would have done it before losing a 19-point lead !!!! I put this lost lead on the head coach, not the players. Even championship teams need a timeout when things are out of sorts. No way in hell Mazzula should have let the lead disappear so fast without doing something.

I always liked this when Phil Jackson did it. Builds collective thinking and mental toughness in combatting hard situations together as a team. Team resilience.

Valuable for tougher tests down the road. Then Phil would call timeouts quickly in the playoff games to stop runs. I liked that. Use the regular season to let the players learn + short leash in the playoffs.

Maybe........ if it works and doesn't cost your team valuable wins.

It's not just a timeout to make adjustments with your team, even more so, it is important to stop the momentum the other team is building. If you don't, it can snowball the way this game has. It's overthinking.

Al has almost exclusively been in drop coverage in PnRs this season.  I understand that he's getting up there in age, but I'm not sure I like it.  Would still like to see if he's still capable of switching.

Grow up, ref. That's a ridiculous T to give a star like Tatum.
