Builds collective thinking and mental toughness in combatting hard situations together as a team. Team resilience. Valuable for tougher tests down the road. Then Phil would call timeouts quickly in the playoff games to stop runs. I liked that. Use the regular season to let the players learn + short leash in the playoffs.
