James “hurt” but bet he plays in All Star Game
Probably.  That seems to be the thing in the NBA.  Wouldn't be surprised to see Brown play in it either as he hasn't been replaced yet.

Sure, but Jaylen got his face broken less than a week ago.  LeBron got the points for his record (which it was never about) and hasn’t played since because of a “sore ankle”.  If the Celtics had a game this weekend, Jaylen would try to come back for that too.

Lebron is also supposed to play tonight, though he apparently tried to played last night and couldn't go, so we shall see if he plays tonight.

Recent Jacque Vaugn quote on Simmons.

Quote
After the game, Nets head coach Jacque Vaughn was asked an understandable question about why Simmons saw the court for so little time. What followed, though, was a very interesting and detailed answer that revealed, and frankly cemented, some of the ongoing challenges with constructing lineups around Simmons’ strengths and weaknesses.

“It’s going to be some work that we have to do,” said Vaughn, via Tim Bontemps of ESPN. “Because you just take a look at what the lineups could potentially look like. You put another big next to Ben, then you got to figure out what the spacing is around him. Then, if you put another playmaker next to him, then you got to figure out what Ben looks like without the basketball. Then if you go small with Ben, then you have to figure out can you rebound enough with him? So the challenges are ahead of us. We’ll look them head on. We’ll figure it out. We have the personnel to figure it out. Whether it is me mixing and matching throughout different pieces of the game, and allowing him to have a group and run with a group, that part we’ll figure out, but you see the challenges that lie ahead.”

Yeah he's like just a 15-20 minute guy off the bench now.

Simmons will go down as a bust. I think once his contract is up he'll pretty much be out of the league. I also wonder if Simmons even cares about basketball tbh. At times I question if his heart is even in it anymore

Simmons should be starting on that team.  They need a playmaker and for all his flaws, Simmons is that.

Simmons, Bridges, Finney-Smith, Johnson, Claxton

I'd start that lineup.  Bring Dinwiddie off the bench for instant offense.

Will be interesting to see how the Clippers look against the warriors with their new additions. Game is on TNT after the C’s.

This refs are terrible.  The way Gianni’s gets calls just makes me sick.  Fake officiating is a bad look

I think many players, coaches and front office people from multiple organizations now have told everyone what they feel about Simmons. And it's not good stuff.

And by "playmaking", do you mean dribble handoffs and setting screens? Because that's all Simmons does now. He doesn't even play defense well anymore. There's many Twitter posts highlighting how bad he is on defense this season too

He is averaging over 6 assists in his 26 minutes.  He can still pass.  He can still run an offense.  He won't shoot, but that team doesn't need shooting, they need someone to initiate and pass.

Simmons can't run a half court offense worth a [dang].  If he could have, the Sixers probably would have a championship.

The Clippers have become deeper with the addition of Bones, EG, and Plumlee. I think it’ll be down to Denver and The Clippers in the Western finals.

Will be interesting to see how the Suns look as well if/when KD returns.

A bye week in addition to the all star break? Hmmm

Jovan Buha: Darvin Ham said he doesn’t believe the NBA season should be shortened but he thinks the NBA should instead implement a bye week similar to the NFL. – via Twitter jovanbuha
